The name is spelled “Loomis”, but it’s pronounced “Loon”.

Sounds like a threat to public safety. Hope law enforcement can collect him and help him find the help he cleary needs.

He’s advocating killing persons who simply hold a certain opinion. Can only imagine the road-rage this guy has in traffic.

In the interest of workplace safety and the security of the children attending his school, suggest his employer carefully consider the risks of having such a person on staff. If nothing else, protection from future liability - when he finally loses it and do go ballistic, it will be on record that he had violent intentions.

Someone needs to ask this dufus where he’d buy the gun he’d use to kill anyone with. Oh, I get it. Only liberals can own guns.

I know liberals who don’t believe the government should say you can’t own guns. Obviosly this person owns a gun. Because she’s all for the government forcing you to buy insurance. I don’t even argue with them anymore. They defeat their own arguments if you’ll let them talk long enough. That’s what the professor just did.

Note: Firearms are not even among the top 5 killers of children.

Over 1065(!) are killed EVERY DAY (world-wide) by the following:

Road crashes: They kill 260,000 children a year and injure about 10 million. They are the leading cause of death among 10-19 year olds and a leading cause of child disability.

Drowning: It kills more than 175,000 children a year. Every year, up to 3 million children survive a drowning incident. Due to brain damage in some survivors, non-fatal drowning has the highest average lifetime health and economic impact of any injury type.

Burns: Fire-related burns kill nearly 96,000 children a year and the death rate is 11 times higher in low- and middle-income countries than in high-income countries.

Falls: Nearly 47,000 children fall to their deaths every year, but hundreds of thousands more sustain less serious injuries from a fall.

Poisoning: More than 45,000 children die each year from unintended poisoning.

Murder anyone who thinks teachers should be armed

Irony and hypocrisy collide in a single statement devoid of any reason whatsoever.

Imagine if some professor said “Murder anyone who tries to ban guns”. The media would erupt. I encourage everyone to email and CALL the school as many times as you can. I’ve already called twice.

Oh, he’s a “professor” in liberal dogma. No onder he posts such garbage. But it is amusing to see how low his opinion is of public school teachers.

Re: Erick Loomis

Dear Sir or Madam,

Much has been said about the state of mind of the shooter at the elementary School in Connecticut and what may have provoked him to do such a horrible thing. Many have said he should have been diagnosed as mentally unstable and should not have been allowed in an open society.

I am writing you to say that you have this same type person, Eric Loomis, on your campus and in fact he may be as unstable as the shooter in Connecticut!!

My Loomis recently tweeted @rudepunditt “First fucker to say the solution is for elementary school teachers to carry guns needs to be beaten to death”. This is exactly the type of language that could cause some unstable person to go out and kill. I believe and hope you would agree that we can have a civil debate on this without the need for inciting violence?

As a member of the NRA and an advocate of teachers being armed, I now fear that my travels which take me on occasion to your fair state may put me at the risk of being harmed because of this type of tweet by Mr. Loomis.

It is my belief that you should immediately have a psychiatric evaluation of Mr. Loomis and provide the public with proof that Mr. Loomis is a stable person capable of teaching in an institution such as yours. Failure to do so and blood could possibly be on your hands because of his tweets.

Respectfully,

H.L.Johnson
