A South Dakota woman is using a little bit of creativity and an unusual material to make Christmas tree decorations.
She shellacs and decorates ornaments made from moose droppings. Shes even painted the classic Peanuts character, Snoopy, on several of the crafts.
She says she got the idea of using the material after seeing other such products being sold in stores in Alaska

Yep, here in Alaska every summer after the snow melts we have moose nuggets in the lawn. Some peole make earrings from them. Oh, well, you never know what some will buy in a gift store.

Isn’t it true that this is the same woman who authored the phrase, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”?

Lo, many moons ago, in a state far away, an enterprising farmer made a surprising amount of money selling shellacked & framed cow pies. Only the best cow pies qualified; run of the pasture cow flops were automatically rejected by his discerning eye.
The novelty wore off after a season or two.

No wonder they didn't show any images of her work or her name....she'd be in *big* trouble with copyright by using the Snoopy/Schultz images by reproducing them w/out permission.

That’s nothing compared with what the DNC did in 2008 and 2012, starting with even less.
