DALLAS (AP) - Two women have sued the Texas Department of Public Safety over a body cavity search by a female trooper captured by patrol car video along a Dallas-area highway.

The lawsuit says the July 13 search of 38-year-old Angel Dobbs and her 24-year-old niece, Ashley Dobbs, was unlawful. The Irving women complained to DPS.

DPS spokeswoman Katherine Cesinger on Tuesday declined comment on the lawsuit. Cesinger says results of a Texas Rangers inquiry were sent to the Dallas County district attorney's office. The dispute is expected to reach a grand jury next month.

The women say a male trooper told them he saw them throwing cigarette butts out a car window, questioned them about drugs and summoned a female trooper for a search.

The two women say no drugs were found. Click here for a video of the search.

It drifted off into the evils of cigarettes...

Clearly Sexual Assault.

At the end you hear the poor Aunt, "You had finger up my butt and in my p*ssy."

...and on the side of the road at that.

Why wasn't a K-9 unit called if they suspected pot in the car or their persons?

Note that the female officer (at least on this edited video) never checks their pockets, she just checks their boobs and then fingers them. I wonder if she changed gloves....

Get ready to pay. Any jury who watches that video is going to start the bidding at $10 million.

The female cop put the same gloved finger she just had up the niece's butt into the butt and vagina of the aunt.

Even with the niece, she probed her butt and without changing cloves, probed her vagina.

The state may have to pay but unless this jack boot is drummed out of law enforcement and forced into grinding poverty for the rest of her days there will be no justice.

I haven’t watched the full video, which is about an hour, but judging by the jumps in the editing and wht you can hear of the dialog, there are at least three people who need to be counselled into new careers: the original trooper — who may or may not have actually seen anything — called for a search instead of taking them into custody. If his probable cause was strong enough to call for a search, it was strong enough to call for an arrest, leading to a private location where a search could be conducted. Someone at dispatch, who sent a female LEO out to perform the search also needs to be fired, and the female officer herself, who made no objection whatsoever to this outrage, and who — again, at least on the basis of the edited video — did not even follow basic sanitary protocol.

Why would you ever consent to such a search?

Nobody forced them to agree to this. This is the land of the free, so stop complaining and bend over.

It was probably either consent or be killed for “resisting”.

Go here to complement a TxDPS Employee.

http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/PublicInformation/commendEmpl.htm

From the Texas Department of Public Safety Website:

If you would like to commend an employee for their exceptional service or remarkable assistance, please be sure to include as much information as possible, including the employee’s name and how their service went above and beyond that you expected.

When we receive a commendation, we share it with the employee and their supervisor. A copy of the letter or email is placed in the employee’s personnel file. We also share the letter with agency employees.

Make it snarky.
