Talk about no brakes. Did you ever see any of this guy’s videos? Buggy rolling.

Rode something similar in Germany, shorter but without the safety features.

I thought it looked pretty tame. It didn’t appear to be going all that fast. Looked like fun but not “jaw dropping” at all. Probably wouldn’t be too hard to get down the mountain on skis in less than half the time that coaster took.

Favorite ride in Germany my brother and I rode was at the local fest in Mannheim. It was essentially a spinning wagon wheel with the seats on the outide. No seat belts. And it tilted. And everyone tried to get to the middle and stand up through the ride. Did I mention that it hopped? Someone would lose their balance, slide all the way to the other side - taking about 3 people with them. Always a few bloody noses, bruises and cuts. Most fun ever - could never have it here.

Moose, sheep, deer, elk, dogs, bear, porcupine, etc. I guess I’ve just seen too many injuries.

I like some of the ‘self service’ rides you can find in rural Germany. Drop in a Euro, take a seat, push the button or pull the chain, and hang on. Limited safety equipment, no attendants, and lots of exposed moving parts.

And when you go to the game parks, you can go in the enclosures with the monkeys. Lots of warning signs in German and Dutch, but none in English, so the monkeys must like Americans.

As long as it’s not a Ferris Wheel, I might try it, but I think I’d like a little more than a seat belt holding me in.
