The weapon in the video is post-civil war gun. Looks like a Winchester, the first Winchester lever gun was put out in '66.

However, the Henry lever-action repeating rifle ("yellow-boy") was used by some union regiments towards the end of the war, Its pretty heavily featured in that show "hell on wheels." Anyway, THAT is a civil-war era gun capable of similar rapid fire.

You are correct on most points, however the 1866 Wichester was known as the Yellow Boy because of the brass frame and the Civil War Henry was simple known as the "Henry Rifle." Looks like the cowboy is shooting a replica 1894 Winchester, maybe made by or Rossi or Uberti.
