A seaplane has engine trouble and has to settle down on a lake in Alaska during winter, that's just the beginning....

Crazy fool.
He took off with landing gear still retracted, having been frozen in that position with 6 inches of ice!
I was thinking to myself as he took off, "all that hard work to salvage the A/C and he'll destroy it with a belly landing at the end of the flight!"
I really hope he thought to test them before taking off.

Having had more than my share of *float plane* rides, the AC/DC song “Thunder struck” at the beginning of the clip is appropriate, in fact should be required on take offs in a short canal or landing on a rough inland lake :)
