Gun Frenzy: Photos Show How Quickly Stores Across the Nation Are Selling Out: “Lines Out the Door”
SHTF Plan ^ | 12/22/12 | Mac Slavo

After nationwide calls to ban assault rifles and high-capacity magazines following the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Americans concerned about the government’s coming move to restrict the sale, the transfer, the importation and the possession of firearms deemed too dangerous to be in the hands of private citizens are cleaning out gun stores from coast to coast.

While some retailers have made the decision to suspend sales and stop selling certain firearms altogether, others are seeing sales skyrocket to never before seen levels. Parking lots are packed and hopeful shoppers are waiting hours for their chance to get their hands on weapons, parts and magazines that may soon be banned under Federal mandates.

In the movie: “The Patriot”, wasn’t it Brit. Gen. Cornwallis the one who referred to the captive rebels as-”criminals”? I’d read before that they had a list of rebel leaders they wanted to get a hold of in order to have them hanged, I know. They had to catch them first; and of course, they never got a lot of them!

“Oh, that tragic house fire...”

That’s what happens when you don’t lose them off your boat into the water.

Right in time too, not one second longer than His perfect purpose requires. I have to add that anytime is alright by me, Dear Lord Jesus.

I read the convoluted timeline and distorted storyline about Adam Lanza and the Conn. shootings, there's something very fishy going on there. I don't doubt direct covert action ID'ed Mother Lanza as a gun shooting Prepper. The next part was easy, kill Nancy at her home and drive over to Sandy Hook where there were innocent targets aplenty. A man with a black rifle and disguise shoots the innocents and the 'brave' union teachers. Toss and kill geek boy on the pile.

All in a days work for the boy's that brought you Fast & Furious!

Well I hate to disappoint all of you as I have no sad story to add about how I loss my guns, BUT I have a GLAD story of what happened to my guns. I followed the example of that stalwart Citizen the champion of Truth and Justice, yes I am talking about our own AG Eric H. Holder Jr. and donated mine to Mexican Relief! It warmed my heart to know that my weapons are now in the hands of the Mexican Cartels who need them so much! I only wish I had more so that I could donate them to Holders downtrodden people! Who are in such disparate need especially in the inner cities!

I urge you all to think of making your own tax deductible donations! Well I think they are tax deductible?? May be you should call the IRS first....or ATF??? ;-)

Gee, Kart, you could have offered to sell them to those of us who lost guns from boat accidents, water leaks, and house fires. I guess you thought the Mexican killers were more needy. :o)

Would you have believed in 2007, the year before Hussein was elected, that we would actually be discussing the feds taking away our guns? I think, in 2007, we would never have believed this possibility could happen.
Just think of George Bush and Cheney saying we have to give up our guns or even one particular gun or one type clip/magazine. No way would they have allowed this to happen. I can see Cheney in full charge getting rid of that idea.

The idea of taking our guns makes me want to buy some more just to spit in their eye.

******************************************************

Actually, yes I could have imagined it, but would have rated it as not too likely, barring unforseen circumstances. The UN and other International groups have long salivated in anticipation of confiscating guns in the USA, so I often have this concern dwelling in the back of my mind.

Bush had some good qualities, but unfortunately, he also leaned toward a New World Order/globalism. He would not have been re-elected if he messed with the 2cnd amendment, and he knew it, and I wasn’t particularyly concerned.

Newtown is likely to be a game changer, and it is too early to see how it will play out.

I fully expect the USA to face confiscation at some point in our future regardless of party. It is just a question of when not if.

More likely with a Democrat, but a liberal Pubbie is almost as likely.

If the people behind the windows wanted, none of those in the picture would have walked away.

My county is that rare species: Conservative Democrats, and a few Republicans. The people are a majority socially and fiscally conservative bunch.

We are one of the poorest counties in Missouri. Mining was the big industry-it is gone and hasn't been replaced. Many people work for a Union about 75 miles away in St. Louis, and their parents were Democrats.

Most will not vote for anyone that they think will take away their guns. Many of the kids and teachers get the flu during deer season. Some of those are lucky enough to have some fresh venison. I guess a deer just wandered across their back yard while they were recuperating.LOL.

Every gun you buy at a gun store now comes with a sales receipt and a background check telling the authorities who you are what you bought and what to look for when they come to grab those guns.
*********************************************************
I have been doing a little research on the subject. If I understand it correctly, that applies to Federally Licensed Gun Dealers-not private Gun dealers.

It also depends on state laws.

Unless things have changed, our state does not require:
permit
registration
licensing
permit to carry
For rifles and shotguns.

For handguns-same thing except, do need a permit for concealed carry.

You do have to be careful about intoxication. Strict laws about being intoxicated and having a gun. Also felons who buy guns are breaking the law.

If you decide to get a concealed carry permit, then you are on the radar, cause you have to pass a background check.

Yes, in my state no permit is required for either open or concealed carry.

Wish I could say the same. Still it’s not too bad compared to Kalifornia.

First, they pass a law making, let's say, AR15s illegal to own.

Then they can use this law to pick up any offender, at their own pace, selectively.

They make the penalties severe enough and most will turn them in on their own. The government has the ability to ruin your life without ever knocking down your door. They can make it impossible for you to have a job, borrow money, drive a car, fly somewhere or even live under the same roof as your children.

Truth is, few of us in real life are the keyboard commandos we pretend to be on anonymous internet forums. Say you're a husband and father with a good job that puts a roof over your head and food in the fridge and suddenly you're facing ten years in prison for that AR-15. Ten years that will cost you your job, your savings, your home and everything in it while leaving your family destitute and penniless. You've got a wife telling you to be sensible, not to risk everything "over that silly gun you never even shoot" and you've got Obama dangling a $500 check in your face during his great "National Assault Weapon Buyback" to take the sting off.

Yeah, lots of guys are gonna turn 'em in on their own. For those who resist, there will be "Report an illegal gun, earn $1000" commercials that will thin out the ranks even more, pitting friend against friend, neighbor against neighbor, family member against family member and even children against parents.

Those folks who think there is going to be some kind of civil war where every gun owner in America joins forces against government tyranny haven't really though it through. This isn't 1776. Those that promise "from my cold, dead hands" will find themselves dying alone and far away from each other.

And this is how it is going to go down.

“And this is how it is going to go down.”

You are right. Even when it came to going against their principles and voting for Romney, the vast majority of conservatives caved in and voted for him. You may have voted for him and I don't care, however, those of us who didn't, stuck to our principles, were castigated. The point is, they gave in and that was just an election.

If they couldn't stand strong then, when faced by losing all they have to hang onto an AR 15, those weapons and magazines will be given up in a heart beat.

I don't have an AR 15 and the main 3 members of my relatives know I have “some” guns but have no idea what they are because they don't care. No neighbors know much about me and certainly don't know what is in my house.

The less you talk to “friends” about what you have in any category, the better off you are.

But, again, you are right if the govn. knows you have “x” and they want it, it will be given up.

Many years ago, I worked for a company for three months in the summer. Unknown to me, that company had a retirement plan and had put money back for me in that plan. The following year when I did our tax returns, I didn't put that on there because I didn't know it.

We got a letter from the IRS and they were going to take the money out of our bank account, just like that. They didn't even ask us to send the money, they were just going to take it themselves. I called the company and sure enough I was in a retirement plan for those three months. My husband wrote a nasty letter to the IRS along with the check for the amount. We had no reason to “cheat” on that small amount and never tried to cheat but we were treated like criminals on that deal.

The govn. can destroy you whenever they want and you have no recourse. Thinking each of us is an independent person is not to realize the govn. has their heel on you all the time - they are just letting you alone but that can change instantly. I think all our guns are in jeopardy, not just the AR 15s.

And, I wish Piers Morgan were out of this country - he is just a wuss who screams a lot of liberal nonsense.

Yes, unfortunately I think that is the outcome. But it’s more fun to play Rambo or James Bond.

I don’t believe we could muster a significant number of gutsy patriots if the plan were to refuse to pay income taxes, much less organize for armed resistance. Unless the government started killing upright citizens in numbers. I think (hope) they lack the will to do that.

BTW, I noticed your home page. I have a bunch of guitars myself. But they were accumulated and played over the years rather than “collected.” I still have my first electric - a 69 Les Paul Deluxe I bought new. PM me if you’d like to chat (I’m not selling any).

I think, in 2007, we would never have believed this possibility could happen.

It was a concern even with the GCA of '68, which required a form to be filled out--concerns even then of registration and confiscation.
