Eliminate armed guards for the President, Vice-President, and their families, and establish Gun Free Zones around them
Gun Free Zones are supposed to protect our children, and some politicians wish to strip us of our right to keep and bear arms. Those same politicians and their families are currently under the protection of armed Secret Service agents. If Gun Free Zones are sufficient protection for our children, then Gun Free Zones should be good enough for politicians.

Thank you for posting your very excellent response.
In the spring, I am taking my GD to DC to see the sights. We had to apply for tickets to tour the WH and are awaiting word for clearance from the Secret Service. This is an outrage, and waste of taxpayer $$$ IMO.
FWIW, we just came back from Cabela’s ...the gun dept. had rows and rows of chairs set up ...looked like a DMV waiting room. The wait for a background check was over 3 hours, said folks whom we spoke to. At least Cabela’s was nice enough to be serving coffee to customers.

Now past 5,000. Growing fast!
Now over 8,226. So close to 1/3 the way there, it hardly matters... in only three days after making the initial 150. This is going over the top.
As of now, the petition has 14,934 signatures and still climbing!
