The petition to deport CNN host Piers Morgan for his recent comments on gun control has reached over 49,000 signatures as of this posting, which will force the White House to respond. The petition, created Friday, needed 25,000 signatures within 30 days for the White House to take action and it’s reached far more than that in a mere three days.

In case you missed it, the petition called for Morgan to be deported for his “hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution.” Gun advocates are angry about Morgan’s comments calling for increased gun legislation in America and are accusing him of wanting to “undermine the Bill of Rights.”

Wasn’t he actually wanted for prosecution in England for something or other?

Would that make him a criminal in the US?

We don’t have to have any reason to deport a non American.
It is not a RIGHT to be allowed in this country. Nor is it a right to be able
to stay in this country if u are not an American.

Send the limy back to England.

“Its American idol governance and its extremely damaging to our form of government.”

Perfect fit for low information voters!

With a foreigner being “installed” as President, I doubt if your governance can be any further debased, or any more dangerous.

>> “Piers Morgan has a free speech right to his opinion as long as he’s not advocating unlawful activity.” <<

.
But not if he’s masquerading as a news reporter.

We have the legal right to demand that he be deported.

Not so.

Immigration statutes require that after a certain number of complaints, hearings must be held on their deportation.

Entry of aliens is conditional.

If their presence is detrimental, they can easily be deported.

on twitter.
Jeremy Clarkson, the British TV presenter famous for ‘Top Gear,’ joked, “Americans. It took us 40 years to get rid of Piers Morgan. Pleease don’t send him back.”

Only CNN would pay this prissy British egotist for the lousiest show on the tube, and that includes Honey Boo-Boo.

"Piers Morgan has a free speech right to his opinion as long as he’s not advocating unlawful activity."

IMHO, calling for the government to violate the Constitution is advocating unlawful activity. There's a fine line; if Piers is calling for an honest and open debate to repeal the 2nd Amendment, that's protected political speech. If he's calling for government to violate the Constitution based on a groundswell of public emotion (which he has been instrumental in shaping), I would have to consider that a direct incitement of unlawful and potentially violent behavior.

Did the petition to deport Piers Morgan also include that for CNN?

If not, it will be ineffective — CNN will just hire another PM.

Sheesh, tell that to all the millions of illegal aliens and the American politicians who try to keep them in the country.

The only “action” the WH will take is to gather all of the data that it can about the petitioners. We know what Marxists do to dissenters.
