A federal judge will soon decide whether your next tank of gas or bottle of soda comes with a free apology from the Marlboro man and Joe Camel.

A recent ruling ordering a multimedia blitz stating that the nation’s largest tobacco companies lied about the dangers of smoking left open the possibility that retailers could be required to post large displays with the mea culpas.

Retail trade groups are upset about the possibility the displays would commandeer their most valuable selling space and imply their own guilt-by-association. …

Guess we will have to wait forever to see billboards where judges apologize to the public for their judicial activism and anticonstitutional behavior.

Where do we post an apology to God for electing Obama and his ilk?

Or, perhaps we need to post an apology to God for the national behavior that has earned the destruction of our freedoms, and once great country?

The mid-90s Big Tobacco settlement was supposed to take care of everything.

I live in a 20-unit apartment complex. About 1/3 of the residents are older, retire. The others are young singles and couples who stay about a year and move on.

I have been surprised at the number of young people who smoke. I though those decades of anti-smoking PSAs; smoking bans in stores, offices, apartments, etc.; and the re-education smoking cessation programs from the Big Tobacco settlement were working. Apparently not.

It seems the Big Tobacco Settlement turned out to be another lib attempt at social engineering that failed.

Hey Judge, if lying is a crime - obama and the MSM should be jailed after they apologize to America.

Just before the re-education camps look for signs that say “Obama is Lord!” and they’ll all be provided by retail companies. The sad thing is a majority of Americans won’t care, or they’ll actually support it, and very few will complain.

They should also post in just as big letters and photo of the judge making the ruling with his home address.
