Since the basic news itself is already posted here, I wasn't going to consider making this post--except insofar as the comments are interesting. Here's a comment on the comments:

And now we get to see the "tolerance" of the Left. So many hateful comments here by those who say they believe in tolerance and diversity.

As I write, it has 17 thumbs up and 11 down.

Earlier here was this, which turns out to be deleted now after I reloaded the page:

Really? I hope he dies tomorrow.

At least it had 0 thumbs up and 5 down. There have been a lot of deleted comments--they must have expressed too much love for one website. This one, too, has now joined them.

You GOP'ers can be rummy faced with gin soaked tears all you want about Bush 41. This Bush 41 presided over and sanctioned countless secret wars and deaths on innocents, that's just the tip of the ice berg too. His end is at hand and justly so.

When I last reloaded before the deletion, this one actually had something like 6 up, 7 down.

Being a proglodyte must be so incredibly joyful.

“countless secret wars”? Everything Bush I did for good or for bad was out in the open and handled via UN. To spread effective propaganda you must start with a kernel of truth and build on it. I used to read the Soviet encyclopedias back in the 1970s and 1980s and they had developed propaganda to an art form. These posters are ridiculous amateurs.

You can't possibly be that naive.

another point is these people do not show any proportion in their hatred. No difference to them between Bush I or Bush II vs a Reagan. Anyone with a R gets the same treatment. On the other handle I see huge differences between all politicians. Big difference between Bill Clinton and Obama.

The news doesn’t look good for Former president Bush, 41. I like the president, but didn’t always agree with some of his decisions.

Still, my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. President Bush is a kind and generous man who has always been a stalwart family man. God bless him and his family.

Even for Barack Obama, who is by far the most evil person ever to set foot in our White House, I would not post such things (and not just because the Secret Service might visit - I will not post such things even once Obama is out of office and no longer a threat to freedom). I would rather have Obama live to be old, see the light, and regret every one of his actions in the public domain. I would settle for Obama living to be old and bitter as he sees Americans still clinging to God and guns, and doing so in freedom despite Obama’s efforts. An early death? Why would a decent person wish that, even for Obama?

I pray for his recovery.

I've had "viral bronchitis" and/or "acute bronchitis" since the week before Thanksgiving. It lingers still - I still cough like my eyes are going to pop out of my head and my stomach muscles are really getting a workout - they are so sore.

I had to go to emergency neighborhood clinic twice. The doctor was good the first time but somehow the coughing just roiled back on me. I saw a pulmonary doctor and have a follow up in about a week.

President Bush 41 is at Methodist Hospital - top notch with local and national recognition. With "acute bronchitis" I rarely ran much of a fever but Bush can't seem to fight the fever.

I pray for his recovery.

My sentiments as well.
