What additives? Water? Sugar? Salts? Do you know what you're talking about or are you just repeating what you've read on some blog? So what additives if you know?

There was once a time, many eons ago, when Arby’s used REAL roast beef in their sandwiches.

Made the mistake od reading the ingredients when I was a kid. I’ll only eat kosher dogs now, even if a little salty at least it’s all the same species up in there.

I reminds me of the nasty pork patty bbq in old MREs from the early 1990s.

At a local discount grocery store (it specializes in obscure test-marketed and non-regional items) I found the “McRib” sandwich meat, complete with barbecue sauce, packed six or eight to a box (the meat, not the bun) in the frozen food section. Also in that section were “hash brown” potato patties (about a dozen to a box) and sausage patties — both items recognizable as served at Burger King.

I grew up on scrapple, blood pudding, head cheese, pigs feet, white pudding, liverwurst, and puddin' and pancakes.

I'm sure they're all good country foods but I probably don't want to know the ingredients in those either but you are correct there is too much sodium in fast foods. I always get super thirsty after eating them.

I more than once ate tuna cat food and lived.

It tasted better than Bumblebee tuna but was darker and had a wilder taste, more fishy.
