Skip over to 54 seconds in and see how Fred handles Gary Busey
Freds a good guy who supports the Wounded Warrior Project. So here he is ....
That guy is 74 and he doesn’t look a day over 50.
There’s quite a few full-length Fred Williamson movies over on YouTube. “Black Caesar”, “Three the Hard Way”, “Boss N——r”, “Bucktown” and others.
I really got into his films. While some of the Blaxploitation genre suffered from low production budgets, quite a few of them are good films. Personally, if I were going to remake one, it’d be “Three the Hard Way.” But who could I find not only to replace Fred Williamson, but Jay “Dr. Shrinker” Robinson, who plays the evil, genocidal superhonky?
Fred “The Hammer” Williamson? Same guy?
I watched that???? What a waste.
That’s what I was wondering as well...I think he and Busey both suffered head injuries, Busey against the pavement, and Williamson against Jim Taylor’s knee...
I say that in good nature joking. Busey is an idiot, and Williamson apparently is doing good work...
Oops...not Jim Taylor...Donny Anderson. Had to doublecheck...:)
I heard there was some reason he’d “retired” early; didn’t know it was a head injury. He’s smart to have gotten out with his brains intact, unlike so many others. I haven’t heard anything about ‘The Hammer’ in a long, long time, until today.
Busey is a certifiable dolt; was even before the motorcycle accident.
