Look where the oil comes from....Alberta Canada. Which states border Alberta/Saskatchewan? Idaho/Montana?North Dakota. And how do they get that oil to those refineries now....by rail. And who has the track through that part of the country all the way south to Texas where those refineries are ? Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
BNSF a wholy owned subsidiary of....Berkshire Hathaway. And who is Berkshire Hathaway....that wonderful humanitarian “the a$$hole from Omaha” Warren Buffet. Doesn’t Warrne Buffet have a special class of preferred GE stock just for him? Why yes, he does. And what is one of GE’s products? Diesel-electric locomotives. Makes Commodore Vanderbuilt look positively generous by comparison.
Warren Buffet should be public enemy #1.

Any predictions on the secession?
I wanted to predict that the Dems will tire of Obama and Valjar and start to ignore him, that Hill & Bill are pissed and feel ill-used and will start making noise, that ‘bam will find implementing his plans far more difficult than dreaming them up, that he will discover that a lot of his people are getting cold feet about throwing the switch, that he’ll get frustrated with the whole thing and decide that the UN is the only place where his genius can find it’s proper scope.
But I’ve been predicting this for a few years now and it hasn’t come to pass.
So, my prediction: something else will happen.

In 2013 — FR will finally get some of its recent software problems fixed, such as the double- and triple- posting that happens with ping lists. This will happen before the next winter solstice but after the next autumnal equinox.
Ben Affleck will seek the Senate seat vacated by John Kerry.
Unexpected retirements among members of Congress will happen in unusual numbers, rocking the stability of party leadership on both sides of the aisle.
The 2nd Amendment will be attacked by anti-Constitutional laws penned and passed by the Demwit Party of Treason; by the time the challenges reach the SCOTUS (2014?) and are overturned, a whole pile of follow-on laws will have been passed, each one trying to find the threshold of acceptability to the current SCOTUS while waiting for Zero’s two or three court appointments to happen.
Bibi and Likud will gain seats in the Knesset. Berlusconi will return to power in Italy. Summer of 2012 in Europe will be unusually quiet, particularly in France.
Syria will continue to implode.
Iran will again have demonstrations and crackdowns against demonstrators.
The US will strike Iranian installations and interests in Africa.
The Saudi royal succession will be legally reformed.
Hugo Chavez will die in Venezuela (and good riddance).
KeystoneXL will be approved, along with new, onshore Arctic drilling — hey, the Demagogic Party-run gov’t needs the money.
:SPORTS:
Nigeria will bid to host the 2020 Olympic games, insisting on a new event, Biafralon — competitors are dumped off naked in the middle of the night in a desert and see who can starve the longest. Oh, sorry.
I say...big quake in Oregon or Washington state. Cascadia Subduction Zone. Tsunamis that’ll affect Japan, Seattle or Portland (or both) gets pretty much obliterated.
The country will get in worse shape and Obama will get more popular.
Our energy costs will necessarily skyrocket over night followed by years of Federal Reserve generated hyper inflation. Change you can believe...
