I liked the Swiss, until just now.

I’ll pass on that. Predators and scavengers not on my menu.

Bronco Bama and his entourage should have vacationed in Switzerland.

Decades ago, when the price of beef shot up, my butcher brought in horse meat. I tried it. IIRC, it was very lean and didn’t have much flavor. Of course there’s a good possibility I didn’t cook it properly. Its consistency was more like venison.

I don’t know, but you can pair a good brandy with a Saint Bernard.

In a lot of the world dogs are eaten.
I have always said do not get to attached to your dog you might have to eat him someday.
Here we are a very rich country and can be very picky about the meat we eat. So be it but a lot of dogs were eaten early on in this part of the world also.

I hate to have to point this out, but I don’t think any amount of armor is going to make that dog look tough.

Anyone have a picture of a young Barry Soetoro in liederhosen?
To: riverrunner
I understand that. It's not that the Swiss have a shortage of cattle. KeSera.

What puzzles me, is that The Church has involved itself in this. With all the cover-up of molestation in the clergy ranks, this seems hypocritical. Talk about yodeling! :(

I leave it at the Swiss expertise with watches, chocolate, Emmentaler and pocket knives. :)

"Meat is meat."Yum, bbq swiss farmer is mighty tasty. The seret's in the sauce, ya know. Serve it up with a side of fava beans and you've got sumptin'. Has anyone seen Farmer Sven lately?
