We need elected representatives that will speak the truth, defend the Constitution, and advocate for limited government. At the present time, conservatism has no voice. In addition, a few REAL conservatives who have no fear of losing an election, could really throw a monkey wrench into the march toward Socialism. The GOP is a farce. Insolvency is now inevitable and our drift toward socialism is relentless. We need leaders who are not in office for personal gain. We need patriots now.

It's too bad too, that so many conservatives were willing to waste their votes on Romney (and I still question whether he would be any better than Obama.) If enough of us had been willing to give the Constitution and Libertarian parties (especially the Constitution party) our votes, all that they needed was 5% to be included in the presidential debates next time around. I believe a blunt-speaking determined third party conservative would win a lot of hearts, minds, and votes, and likely the next presidential election if he (or she) had access to the media on the same level as the 2 “mainstream” political parties. I am old enough to remember Ross Perot and how well he did. He maintained equality with Clinton and Bush, and then he got all flaky and handed the election to Clinton. But a committed, non-nutty, third party candidate with a national platform really could win. Had Ross Perot been serious, we might well have seen it happen in 1992.

..the reason we keep getting RINOs is because that's who the voters keep nominating, and that is a result of a fundamental shift to the left in this country in recent years.

Incomplete.

It's the result of a fundamental shift to corruption where a minority is seizing power over a majority that thinks it's the minority. It is very politically incorrect on the right to say this; the Grown Ups here insist that conspiracy theorists are kooks to think vote fraud deserves consideration. Meanwhile, I see an MSM that wildly distorts how America sees itself. For example, while public pro-gun control articles are swamped with reader comments who belive in the 2nd amendment, the MSM shows a picture where pro 2nd amendment positions are rare and highly controversial. That is the MSM's sliver of America made to look like "everybody," so the impression it creates is that pro 2nd amendment feeling in this country isn't nearly as big as it actually is. And even pro 2nd ammendment people buy it!

Liberals dominate pop culture and the MSM, but they are less than half of real America, and true-blue liberalism is WAY less than half. READ WHAT AMERICANS ARE SAYING, and go beyond the miniscule slice of the real America that the MSM represents. HAVE MORE FAITH IN YOUR COUNTRYMEN.

Also, have the courage to admit that the integrity of the franchise is sorely compromised, and to DEFEND against multiple voting, dead voting, illegal immigrant voting, etc., that always seem to favor liberal candidates. Or do you really think Al Franken got in office without cheating? Defend the franchise, and you will see the real America vote for freedom. Right now, you see fraudulent votes tipping the balance of elections to liberals that most Americans think stink, and those Americans not being surprised because the MSM has told them that the majority of Americans are liberal, hence liberal victories. All that vote fraud is just ... window dressing. Conspiracy kook stuff. Pay no attention, right or left!

Understanding that Americans are on balance good, moral, righteous people is the ONLY way we're going to regain this country. The MSM not only brainwashes the young with pro-liberal propoganda, it brainwashes conservatives into holding the majority of their fellow Americans in contempt. That is a SURE loser starting point, and it is a place arrived at on very flawed premises.

The MSM distorts even more than it propagandizes, and that distortion is what has the majority overpowered by a minority. For now.

You need to change your screen name to Pvt. Hudson, the panic-stricken hysterical grunt in "Aliens."

"Game over, man! Game over!"

I have been registered as “Undeclared” for many years. The GOP lost my vote years ago. They don’t even bother to send me advertisements any more.

I think a lot of us are joining you

To be a conservative, one must stop voting for liberals. If one is still voting GOP...you are a liberal

Who's in?

I would be, except, being a white man, I expect to someday be an Old White Man, and I'd have to quit your club.

Oh. OK. I was thinking about agreeing with you. I’d never want to be a member of a club that has standards so low they’d let me in....

HA! And the club of my own invention wouldn’t let me in. I like it! Well, maybe it could be treated like a minority-owned start-up. THANKS!!!!

I’m not voting for them either. That’s the point. They sold us down the river, working side by side with the Democrats. There is no one to vote for. They all play for the same team. They all serve the same master, and it isn’t “we the people.”

I don't deny that voter fraud occurs that favors the Democrats, but do you honestly believe Obama and gay marriage didn't win in true blue states like Maryland and Washington? I don't.

Leaving the GOP will only take Conservative votes out of the primaries. It may be easier to lash out against the "GOPe" than it would be to sway Americans to Conservative values, but it won't accomplish anything other than deprive Conservative candidates of your votes in the primaries.

And, it will be next to impossible to stop voter fraud until we have won back some of the ground we have lost with the voting public. Until THAT happens, we'll keep getting RINOs on one side and lefties on the other.
