A baby is safe after police said he was left behind at a Daytona Beach liquor store by his father.
Detectives said 26-year-old Kenneth Rowe was drunk when he allegedly stumbled into Sharks Liquor Store near International Speedway on Sunday night and asked the clerk to watch the 11-month-old baby.
The clerk said the baby had a rash on the side of his face and was hungry.
Rowe is facing child neglect charges, and the baby is with the Department of Children and Families.
hold muh beer....
Hold muh baby.
At least the child knows who its father is.
Well, he was drunk.
Wasn’t having someone else take care of his child the RESPONSIBLE thing to do??
Man, can’t believe that stuff is legal.
It's unclear whether the clerk actually agreed, but Rowe nevertheless ditched the baby for the Shark Lounge gentleman's club, which sits in the same building, the Sun-Sentinel reports.
What a loser...dumps the baby to go to the strip club...
Sure, when you've had to much, turn the baby over to a s designated daddy.
Eh, people forget stuff all the time...
If that’s how he looks at 26, I can only imagine what he’ll look like at 30.
I hope he turns 30 in prison.
