Gun confiscation: How will it start?

Posted on 01/02/2013 4:03:29 PM PST by rustyboots

With all the recent talk about gun control, the high level of ammo/firearm purchasing and the just demonstrated lack of GOP gonads on fiscal matters, I started to wonder just how fast they would roll over for DiFi? But I guess the real question would be; If Difi got her wish on her new bill, how would they start if millions resisted? Would the government realize that there wasn't going to be a cheerful obedience to the new law and just let millions get away with this resistance? If there decided to go after gun owners who refused to register, how would they do it? Do they do massive overnight raids on FFL dealers/gun stores? Do they do the midnight raids on the common man? And then where do they start? What would happen if they raided 50 different locations in Texas versus raiding 50 different places in Kansas? Will we see resistance then? Of if successful, will the rest of America just bend over and grab their ankles? Just curious what many of you think? After 57 years, I am beginning to fear my government.... and many of the citizens of this great country.

With all the supposition that gun confiscations is a logistical impossibility in this land, it would do us well to consider ‘The Plan’ that every despotic Marxist regime requires to achieve absolute power to impose genocidal pograms against their own people.

If the goal is the complete destruction of the entire American system in order to build from it’s ashes - a Marxist Utopia - then what is required is massive bloodshed and conflict. This stops life as we know it, shelves empty, JIT system empties any possibility of restocking, free travel is a risk if not prohibited.

In such a scenario - how long do any of you think it will be before the MAJORITY of entitlement-minded Americans, (led to believe that all the conflict is the result of ‘Bitter-Clinger White Republican-types”) - will gladly accept and APPLAUD - an iron-fisted sweep of the declared enemies of the state under the promise of ‘restoring things back to normal”??

Neighbors, friends and family would turn you in and betray you in a New York second for the promise of bread and a promise of a return to ‘normalcy’.

And I believe that is EXACTLY why the Ruling Class MarxoFascist regime and their media stormtroopers are stoking and pushing this nation to such an inevitability. They understand human nature in the grips of desperation that most of us assume is not possible here.

And I believe that is the card they are playing. They WANT chaos, they WANT a scapegoat to impose what they truly intend. If memory serves, some FBI agent called Grathworl reported that Obama’s handlers and professors back in the 80’s were wargaming exterminating 70 million Americans who they thought could not be ‘re-educated’ to the ‘change’.

History teaches that once a climate of fear is established, and mass desperation, starvation and chaos reigns - children turn in their own parents for a mere promise of an extra ration - and the whole people knuckle under and walk themselves to the camps and willingly endure subjugation.

I think that is where we are being led - and our guns are not going to spare us from this inevitability the way things are playing out now.

Will you own illegal guns or turn them in?

Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Kinda cool.

Yes, and there’s only 100 million to be traced.

Unless you’re worried about being first and caught unaware, think about how you’d react to the news of this invasion of privacy.
1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 10th Amendment violations.

It will start out with a national registration program. With that registration will come a registration tax, just like your car. Every year you will have to renew your registration and pay the tax. The tax will gradually increase. It will initially be small, maybe $50. Most gun owners, being law-abiding citizens will comply. Then, each year the registration fees will increase until a majority of gun owners can’t afford to pay the fee each year.

They already pulled that with my house. Now, it's theirs, and I just pay rent on it to them, even though I "technically" own it outright.

I'm thinking not.

Think about this. The 1923 gun ban put a $200 tax stamp on all the restricted firearms. In 2011 dollars that is $2606. A typical gun owner in Texas with a few hunting rifles, shotguns, pistols could easily have 10 guns. That is a Twenty Six Thousand dollar tax bill each year just for the ‘right’ to own his guns. (and for many I know, 10 is just the number under the bed).

That kind of bill creates either a criminal or a disarmed citizen.

Your scenario is the most logical and realistic.

Unfortunately...

“Let’s see what happens in IL. It looks like they may confiscate most guns there.”

Well I guess that will totally invalidate the Federal Court decision about three weeks ago ordering Illinois to adopt concealed carry, won’t it...?

“I suggest everyone take a deep breath relax and read Unintended Consequences by John Ross. Its a fictional look at overcoming tyranny, but it shows how one could fight back.”

Reading it right now, as should everyone else who reads this post.

Just open a google search page, enter the title, and throw in “pdf”.

You’ll know what to do next.

That kind of bill creates either a criminal or a disarmed citizen.

If you give up your guns, you'll STILL be marked with the sign of the GewehrJuden or GeschützJuden by the "authorities".

Only you'll be disarmed...

“Well, you could hide your guns. If enough people do that, what will the government do?”

Do you really think the fed will buy that childish excuse?
They will arrest and detain all you cowards that thought saying you lost them in a boating accident was funny. Saying such a thing is childish and cowardly. You either turn them over or get arrested and detained...or you use them.

The rest of us buy, own, and hold high our weapons and dare them to come and get them!

Actually, it started several summers ago. Remember when federal employees came by and recorded GPS coordinates on every building in the US?

Then the next year, the census workers attached names to those buildings.

Not just damn, but JDAM.

“That’s what the lawyers call a “chilling effect” on the exercise of Constitutional rights....”

In my case it’s really just conserving ammo and money for preps. And OpSec - there is a time for bravado and a time for stealth.

“The next time you drive the officer runs your tag...”

That officer has a life: friends, Family, a home, a car, etc.

In Germany and China, the local police were told to stand aside while the SS and Red Guard did their work.

Funny thing about the census; I am 57 years old, since I turned 18 I have never been contacted by a census worker, nor have I received any census forms in the mail. I am retired US Army, pay Federal taxes, currently hold a security clearance for my job. I have filled out more than my share of 4473s since I have lived at our current address. I have not tried to hide or anything, yet the census has never found me. Our home is not on latest Federal GPS map that I saw.
Are we being discriminated against? Can they really find me? LOL
