With all the recent talk about gun control, the high level of ammo/firearm purchasing and the just demonstrated lack of GOP gonads on fiscal matters, I started to wonder just how fast they would roll over for DiFi? But I guess the real question would be; If Difi got her wish on her new bill, how would they start if millions resisted? Would the government realize that there wasn't going to be a cheerful obedience to the new law and just let millions get away with this resistance? If there decided to go after gun owners who refused to register, how would they do it? Do they do massive overnight raids on FFL dealers/gun stores? Do they do the midnight raids on the common man? And then where do they start? What would happen if they raided 50 different locations in Texas versus raiding 50 different places in Kansas? Will we see resistance then? Of if successful, will the rest of America just bend over and grab their ankles? Just curious what many of you think? After 57 years, I am beginning to fear my government.... and many of the citizens of this great country.
What Good Can a Handgun Do Against An Army?

they’ll send notices to every permitholder to turn inthei guns by a specific date. then they would sent swat teams to those who do not comply. those who still refuse will be arrested. divide and conquor. those who offer resistance will be amde examples of, and shot onthe scene.
you might see ruby ridge ocurring all over...
just this question alone tells me no one has faith in the Republican Party anymore.
Fire Bonehead!!!!!
I think that confiscation would almost immediately cause an event where LEOs are fired upon and probably killed. Then the state/fed gov. will overstep their bounds and guerrilla type tactics will be employed by citizens. Then we’ll see who’s talking and who’s walking. May God Bless America.
What guns ? I don’t have any guns anymore. I sold them to a freind of a friend. No, I don’t remember his name, they said they were “Going Gault” and I haven’t seen either of them in six months. I knew that they were lovers and moving to Idaho to have themselves a Brokeback Mountain fling.
Sorry to disappoint you.
If every gun owner resisted, the tyrants couldn’t do it.
But.
99% will submit to the slaughter like sheep.
The other 1% will suffer horribly.
I sent a copy of this to my elected Wash DC officials Coats and Young from IN:
Hope it helps...

i can’t believe what is happening to our country. will there be violencce if they start conficating firearms? most likely so. not sure what i would do. i am sure the “authorities” involved will say later -—i vas just following orders as they mow down their neighbors
As an amateur historian of this sad century whose time is almost up, I would like to reflect upon six lessons I have learned in my studies. Folks who wish to live free and prosperous in the next century would do well to understand the failures of the past.
LESSON NO. 1: If a bureaucrat, or a soldier sent by a bureaucrat, comes to knock down your door and take you someplace you do not want to go because of who you are or what you think -- kill him. If you can, kill the politician who sent him. You will likely die anyway, and you will be saving someone else the same fate. For it is a universal truth that the intended victims always far outnumber the tyrant's executioners. Any nation which practices this lesson will quickly run out of executioners and tyrants.
LESSON NO. 2: If a bureaucrat, or a soldier sent by a bureaucrat, comes to knock down your door and confiscate your firearms -- kill him. The disarmament of law-abiding citizens is the required precursor to genocide.
LESSON NO. 3: If a bureaucrat tells you that he must know if you have a firearm so he can put your name on a list for the common good, or wants to issue you an identity card so that you be more easily identified -- tell him to go to hell. Registration of people and firearms is the required precursor to the tyranny which permits genocide. Bureaucrats cannot send soldiers to doors that are not on their list.

And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?
Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?
The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalins thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!
If...if...We didnt love freedom enough. And even more we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.

Remember Waco?
That’s how they do it!
Just went to get some lowers. GONE OLA.
Two month backorder and prices sky high.
FK it. I’m just gonna get that Kimber I’ve been looking at.
Stoopit Stoopit. STOOPIT¡¡¡¡¡¡
There is no Republican Party but just a bunch of chicken shi! nitwits that are as bad as the now Democratic communists party. America is ready to become a dictatorship that is controlled by a few hundred communists leaders. America is finished. The roll downhill will now speed up and before King Obama's term he will declare permanent ownership of America. THINK NOT?
Hmmm.....they are outnumbered.
Come get em....
“divide and conquer. those who offer resistance will be made examples of, and shot on the scene. You might see ruby ridge occurring all over...”
Ruby Ridge didn’t go so well for the Feds... It would go worse today with instant communications and all.
I’ll get to test my Luepold Mark IV and see if a heated round really will travel 1,000 yards accurately.
The government has fits over about a 100 LEOs killed in a year and a couple hundred solders killed in a year.
Let alone thousands of gun grabbers shot.
Remember a lot of the military and LEOs will not go along with it and will be part of the resistance.
Didn’t turn in your guns by the due date?
Lien on your house.
Bank accounts frozen.
Credit cards declined.
Drivers lisence suspended.
Any work lisence such as contractors, doctors, etc. suspended.
And so on.
No need for force
Draconian mandatory sentences, and easy convictions, would force compliance from most people.
There are passive ways this can be worked on before the real divide and conquer shooting starts.
“99% will submit to the slaughter like sheep.”
I don’t think so... The IRS has only about 70% compliance or less. And 10% of the 100 million gun owners still leaves 10 million pissed off gun owners. Considering that there are only 1 million in the armed forces, confiscation of arms would be an impossible task.
I think civilians have more guns than the Army. It is illegal for the army to attack civilians. Confiscation will start with bullets hot and fast.
The history of Marxist regimes and Socialist Utopianists provides the blueprint they almost always follow regarding the disarmament of the citizens they intend to subjugate to absolute tyranny.
But considering we are an anomaly with rights enshrined since our establishment - makes your question a bit trickier to answer - but I believe we will see a combo of what was done in the UK and Australia in the beginning, followed by what every despot from Hitler to Pol Pot did to enforce disarmament upon their own people.
They will ban the ability to purchase just about every conceivable firearm able to hold more than 5 bullets and isn’t a bolt-action/semi-auto. Ammo will be prohibited for ‘assault rifles’. This may happen in the next few weeks or months.
On the heels of that, or as part of whatever ‘act’ they conceive - a national gun registration program in conjunction with or mandated to the states and local police will also be enacted. A limited time will be offered to comply with the new ‘law’ before penalties for failure to register your weapon will be imposed.
Get another false flag or mass shooting, the opportunists will seize on that panic to demand a ‘gun buyback’ similar to what the Brits and Aussies suffered. The ‘buyback’ will be mandatory and because the government is ‘compensating’ you for your firearm - it will be said to pass Constitutional muster. They will give an limited amnesty time for compliance.
After that - look for penalty enforcement for turning in your weapon to begin. They will begin with fines, jail and seizures of property for non-compliance. You will be bankrupted and unable to transact business - I would not be surprised if the IRS is already a mechanism they will employ for enforcement via seizing bank accounts and wages for failure to comply or produce a weapon with a 4473 in your name.
After that - any resistance - and for public effect - to create a climate of fear, examples will be made of those who resist.
And then the rest of the sheep follow to avoid becoming the new Jews of the MarxoFascist state being erected around us.
They don’t have the manpower to covere even a thousandth of us. Think the rest of us aren’t going to set the world on fire if they try what you suggest?
Never have I seen such a collection of spineless wusses. Those who would not fight are worthless cowards who don’t deserve the freedom we who have served have fought for. I spit on those who would not make a stand
I’ll eat tree bark then and go camping.
I didn't come up with this either, read it on some gun forums.
“Lien on your house.

Those are postwar matters.
... Perhaps 50-100 million firearms currently owned by law-abiding citizens will become contraband with the stroke of a pen. Citizens will either register their firearms, or turn them in to agents of the federal government, or risk becoming criminals themselves. Faced with this choice, millions will indeed register their arms. Perhaps as many will claim theyve sold their arms, or had them stolen. Suppose that as many as 200-250 million weapons of other types will go unregistered.
Tens of millions of Americans will refuse to comply with an order that is clearly a violation of the explicit intent of the Second Amendment. Among the most ardent opposing these measures will be military veterans, active duty servicemen, and local law enforcement officers. Many of these individuals will refuse to carry out what they view as Constitutionally illegal orders. Perhaps 40-50 million citizens will view such a law as treason. Perhaps ten percent of those, 4-5 million, would support a rebellion in some way, and maybe 40,000-100,000 Americans will form small independently-functioning active resistance cells, or become lone-wolves.
They will be leaderless, stateless, difficult to track, and considering the number of military veterans that would likely be among their number, extremely skilled at sabotage, assassination, and ambush.
After a number of carefully-planned, highly-publicized, and successful raids by the government, one or more will invariably end badly. Whether innocents are gunned down, a city block is burned to ash, or especially fierce resistance leads to a disastrously failed raid doesnt particularly matter. What matters is that when illusion of the governments invincibility and infallibility is broken, the hunters will become the hunted.
Unnamed citizens and federal agents will be the first to die, and they will die by the dozens and maybe hundreds, but famous politicians will soon join them in a spate of revenge killings, many of which will go unsolved.
Ironically, while the gun grab was intended to keep citizens from preserving their liberties with medium-powered weapons, it completely ignored the longer-ranged rifles perfect for shooting at ranges far beyond what a security detail can protect, and suppressed .22LR weapons proven deadly in urban sniping in Europe and Asia.
While the Secret Service will be able to protect the President in the White House, he will not dare leave his gilded cage except in carefully controlled circumstances. Even then he will be forced to move like a criminal. He will never be seen outdoors in public again. Not in this country.
The 535 members of the House and Senate in both parties that allowed such a law to pass would largely be on their own; the Secret Service is too small to protect all of them and their families, the Capitol Police too unskilled, and competent private security not particularly interested in working against their own best interests at any price. The elites will be steadily whittled down, and if they can not be reached directly, the targets will become their staffers, spouses, children, and grandchildren. Grandstanding media figures loyal to the regime would die in droves, executed as enemies of the Republic. ...

Yep. Looking for a Mini-14 so I went to Gander Mountain yesterday where they always have a few on the wall. They were cleaned out and don't know when they'll be getting new ones. Cleaned out of every high cap magazine as well and the shelves were bare of all but the least common caliber ammo. Lots of empty shelves and wallspace. The only scary, black rifles they had were .22LR.
Went to a smaller gun store in town today and saw a pair of Mini-14s in stock with $1300 price tags --more than double what you could get them for a month ago. Kept my wallet in my pants. Don't need one that bad right now. Just crazy out there!

Bttt.
So they’ll do those things and leave the guns alone? Nah. They’ll need to put their hands on them at some point. That’s when we’ll see what’s what.
ruby ridge...didn’t have a lot of other friends in the neighborhood who just migh help out the people under attack by the govt thugs.
It won’t work the way most think.
It will start out with a national registration program. With that registration will come a registration tax, just like your car. Every year you will have to renew your registration and pay the tax. The tax will gradually increase. It will initially be small, maybe $50. Most gun owners, being law-abiding citizens will comply. Then, each year the registration fees will increase until a majority of gun owners can’t afford to pay the fee each year.
The law abiding gun owner will have the choice to either pay the tax he can’t afford, sell his guns, or refuse to register. For those who don’t register, there won’t be SWAT raids except for possibly a few high profile raids. Instead, you simply won’t be able to buy ammo, reloading supplies, hunting licenses, or shooting range memberships. If caught with one, you will face stiff fines and confiscation.
It will be gun elimination through attrition. It will be so gradual, there will be very little resistance, no CWII, no revolution. Just bureaucrats adding a little bit of tyranny at a time along with a spoon full of sugar so you swallow it.
We're already the Jews of the MarxoFascist state. They just haven't started the exterminations yet.
Let’s see what happens in IL. It looks like they may confiscate most guns there.
Economic collapse.
A gun will buy ten gallons of milk.
Or five gallons of gas.
Or a case of Kansas T-bones.
Take your choice.
Oh, BTW, if your neighbor has guns and doesn’t turn them in, you will get a 3 month supply of food for reporting it...
Oops. fogot to switch my computer back to semi-auto.
It was funny a few times....but not anymore.
I OWN LEGAL GUNS....and continue to own them. Period.
Well, you could hide your guns. If enough people do that, what will the government do?
I predict bloodshed, on the part of the "authorities". And rightfully so - no state has the right to supercede the God-given right to self-defense which is partly enumerated in the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.
We have ways of dealing with gun grabbers...
Praying it won’t come to that, but the fact that confiscation and “control” are even being talked about makes me think - may your aim be true.
But carry on...........
But they will.
History is repeating, and even among ardent Republicans I know - they refuse to believe such a thing ‘can happen here’.
These are the same idiots who refuse to believe Obama is a Marxist, and he’s just your typical Democrat whose term is up in 4 years and we will right the ship of state in 2016.
Clueless and willful ignoramuses, the lot of them.
