Damned global warming keeps making everything cold!
The propagandists at NBC owned Weather Channel have started assigning hurricane-like names to winter storms.
And suddenly I read a post on facebook by a youngster that “they had to do this because climate change has made the winter storms more frequent and intense.”
Last week’s “blizzard” was a joke compared to 78.
But the progressives in the MSM do a pretty good job of selling their sh!t.
You made a very common mistake. When it is too hot, it is climate change. When it is too cold, it is weather. When the weather is severe, it is climate change. When it is calm it is, well, just weather.
It took me 30 minutes to clear the driveway, my sidewalk and the neighbors sidewalks.
< sacrcastic tone of agony = on> Oh how we suffered. This was soooo unusual...it never snows in New England in December. Oh the pain. Will this winter never end? < sarcasm = off>
It is actually quite entertaining watching the Weather Channel shills trying to push their anti-science global warming beliefs. On the one hand, they were talking about the lack of snow this season in a couple of cities and the drought caused by the lack of snow. Then on the the other hand they had to mention the cold and snow that occurred across all of West Texas last night. The US right now actually has the most snow coverage on this day and month then in the past 10 years at least. The depth of snow in some places in not as deep as normal, and of course that is all the anti-science global warmers talk about.
And here is the current snow cover as of late yesterday. Will be more across Texas in tomorrows historic map.
They could use a little global warming over that way.
Doesn't "normal" have a range? Wow, a mere 7 degree drop from the norm and suddenly there are frozen bodies lining the streets.
“Although the reported temperatures in the article don’t seem that threatening, it’s all relative to what you are used to. “
Or what you are prepared for.....
An average homeless guy here in Boston is all bundled up in wintercoat, cardboard, plastic sheets and papers. A homeless guy in Maimi or LA may not be all that well prepared to survive a sudden 40 degrees temperature dip.
On new year eve I saw a bunch of college girls in Cambridge wearing almost nothing but skimpy dresses at 30 degrees temperature trotting in heels over black ice. Saving money on coat check.
