I had a jazz show on the radio at GA Southern at that time . I played that album a lot.

Yeah, I can imagine. I’ve heard it dozens and dozens of times - at least!, and it never gets old. Even the more far out, expressionist works of Coltrane have broader appeal than his contemporaries like Ornette Colman and Dolphy - even Miles, IMO.

When was that? I went to G.S. for awhile, too back in the mid 80's. Even did a stint on the radio.
