Lawsuit: Chuck E. Cheese’s employee stabbed customer over plate

I don’t see reports of knife fights at the CEC over in Matthews, so it’s not a standard entertainment feature.

When we want to eat pizza out (as opposed to frozen or takeout), we go to a nice, family-owned buffet restaurant that has NO TELEVISION. I’ve told the management that’s why we go there, rather than to Cici’s, which is cheaper.

We have gone mad and the scales have tipped us over.

Blame the lawyers.

Even when the police shoot a bank robber or home invader at the scene, he is referred to in print as "the suspect was shot and killed". The guilt was established at the scene and sentencing carried out on the spot. In the absence of any evidence to the contrary, you cannot in good conscience refer to the dead criminals as "suspects" since they will never be convicted in a court of law and it makes the motives of the one(s) defending the property sound as if they acted out of turn.

“the ALLEGED suspect was shot and killed”, then refer to the victim by LAST (or first) name while referring to the “ALLEGED suspect” as MR.

And the ‘suspect’ is ALLEGED, even though the camera(s) distinctly show him entering store, wearing mask or get up, brandishing a weapon, firing a round THEN after he assumes ‘room temperature’ he becomes an ALLEGED suspect - because “WE” don’t want to jump to conclusions BUT it is OK to name, give out home address etc of the store owner and either ‘hold him’ or at least detain him, giving the ALLEGED suspects ‘family’ plenty of time to come up with a glowing account of his existence ending with “Bush forced him to try to get the money because he finally started given monies to ALL his baby mamas and that Honky/Jew/Chinaman/Mexican store owner just executed him, Shaquinestoria didn’t mean to shoot at the owner. I’s gonna find out who his father is and we will get Johnny Cochran to defend him”.
