I actually doubt this will even get to a floor vote, where it requires 2/3.

Then it would have to pass the Senate, also by 2/3.

Then 3/4 of states. IOW, 13 of the 99 state legislative bodies voting no would sink it.

I suspect that the islamofascists have many plans to destroy our country and western civilization. Among them is probably a scenario where they use the “ nuclear option” in the Senate to abolish the filibuster, and then the Treaties Clause to implement their power grabs.

We should repeal the 17th amendment to take power away from the political parties and back to the states where it belongs.
