Go Redskins! By the way, today is Ray Lewis' last home game in Baltimore.
Ray is a thug, if it wasn’t for football, he would be either dead or in jail. Yes, I am from Baltimore.
Side note: Go Skins!!!
Seattle is in a mess of trouble. Washington Griffins III are up for one playoff win at home anyway. I think this is an interesting matchup, tho, and the Griffins III better be wary. So far the NFL playoffs have lacked a certain panashe.
What happened to the Broncos this year?
Kinda like getting in the military.
Broncos fell off the face of the earth. You won’t see them in the playoffs anytime soon with that Manning guy, that is for sure.
“today is Ray Lewis’ last home game in Baltimore.”
He should be immediately arrested after the game and marched off to prison.
Yay for you! Figures I’d find the one Baltimorian who is for the ‘Skins at FR. I’ve been unimpressed for some years now becuse when the Colts stole off from Balmer in the middle of the night folks there didn’t adopt the ‘Skins at all. Yet, without a baseball team, Washingtonians proudly and enthusiastically adopted the Orioles.
Too bad he is not in prison where such etiquette is accepted as normal.
Sadly, today's announcers are Joe Buck and Dumb F***.
Mouse, Goose and Useless would have been so much better.
It's just plain common sense to me.
Agree.
But Erin Andrews is on the Seahawk's sideline........
To quote the poet Phil Roberston : Happy, Happy, Happy.
GO SEAHAWKS!!!
“Shows you that football (or sports in general) is constructive and provide many young men with discipline and a way to earn their living”
Doesn’t apply to Ray Lewis. Lewis was indicted for murder in 2000...after he and his posse stabbed two people to death, in front of a crowd of people.
The prosecution was dreadful, and the law of the jungle prevailed....the crowd stayed silent. So, two men are dead, and nobody is in prison.
Its absurd when Lewis gets accolades, and is called a team ‘leader’.
well he had Psalms 91 on his shirt, but he also had about 6 kids there, didn’t see the mom(s) and he said to God be the glory
good grief I had no clue about the murder.........I take it all back
I am certain that I would hate Ray Lewis if he were not a Raven. I am also certain that I am priveliged to have seen him play for my team. It is a remarkable thing to have great competitors play for your beloved team.
My name (Mr. Bird) is reflective of my love of Baltimore and its sports teams. Baltimore rocks.
After the announcers kept praising Ray Lewis and mentioning that his six kids were there, I kept listening for some word of a wife of many years since they made him sound like such a model citizen. Never mentioned a wife or mother of the children.
Wiki says six kids from four moms.
And that, so far, is the only Seahawk highlight, but the game is still young.
14-0 Skins.
Again, I’m partial to Lewis. In a big way. But if he’s supporting the kids, I’m not sure I can get riled up about it. If he was a Steeler, I would hate on him. But he’s not, and it doesn’t appear that he’s a bad person
Atlanta is more than problematic; it is horrifying to think he actually had a hand in killing someone. I don’t think we have an OJ situation here.
From what I’ve read, Ray Lewis were not directly involved in the murder but that his two friends were.
Ray Lewis the murderer?
I lived in WA back when Steve Largent was catching passes from Jim Zorn and Dave Krieg. I'd love to see the Packers and Seahawks in the Superbowl... with real refs and an honest outcome this time.
Tell it.......”Ray Ray” should have been in prison all these years instead of playing in the NFL.....,lucky for Lewis that he is black.....a white player convicted of participating in a double murder would surely have been black-balled from the league (see Matt Jones)...
?? The Broncos play the Ravens next Saturday.
I was rooting for Indy today. They’ve come a long way in one year.
RG3 is limping and he can’t use his legs so put in Cousins.
Yep, it’s time for K.C.
No freeper should ever root for any DC franchise. The DC fans are the very Leftist bureacrats, politicians, journalists, lobbyists, lawyers, and thieves we despise.
Jaguars fan?
And your point now (Q4) is ?
Seattle’s up by 7 in the 4th quarter and they may very well win this game if RG3 stays in.
that leg just buckled the wrong way...oh my God
RGIII = XXX
Looks like he is down and out for the reminder of the game.
Seattle recovers fumble inside the 10 yard line.
Seattle 21, Washington 14.
6:19 remaining in 4th quarter.
Rg3D2 is down for the count!
Sadly (for RG’s case), I think he was done in Q`1 by bravely hung in there.
Terrible to see RG3 reinjure that knee. There was an earlier thread about the rookie, dual threat QBs. I just don’t believe such running QBs can last long in the NFL, no matter how big and strong and talented.
RG3 might as well pack his bags and come on back to Birmingham with Dr. Andrews and start the process of treating and healing his knee.
The Packers and Seahawks can't play each other in the Super Bowl because both teams are in the same conference.
Been saying it for weeks, watch out for Seattle, I think they tan Atlanta’s hides next weekend.
Oh My! Seattle is bringing all kinds of pressure and will win this game!
Shows what I know...I thought the Seahawks were AFC now. Oh well. We’ve been TVless for almost 5 years now. I guess I’m losing track of the sporting world, so it goes.
Why the heck didn’t the Coaching Staff and Dr. Andrews take RG3 out earlier? Screw this game.
If I recall, it was about this time in the game, Dandy Don used to croon...”Turn out the lights, the party’s over....”
Congratulations on the win today and good luck next week in Atlanta.
Thanks. Your guys had a great season.
It’s going to be fun to watch these young QB’s in years to come. But for RG’s case, I just hope for his case he gets a good surface to run on at home.
That really was an inexcusable coaching decision to leave him in there on one leg. The thing that makes him effective is his running ability. It was clear to any casual observer that the Redskins had no chance to win that game with RGIII in there. May not have won with Cousins either but to risk serious injury to RGIII was just insane.
