Mysterious “Beam” Interrupts Radar in Illinois, Puzzles Experts
whofortedblog.com ^ | January 3, 2013 1:40 pm | Greg Newkirk

Posted on 01/07/2013 4:03:30 PM PST by BenLurkin

Since the 16th of November, the National Weather Service has been reporting that a mysterious “beam of interruption” in Lincoln, Illinois has been screwing with it’s radar. A quick glance at one of their Doppler images and it’s easy to see that something is shooting through the state, but as of now the meteorologists can only guess at the cause.

Is it visual evidence of some kind of HAARP mind control? A targeting beam from an intergalactic destroyer? Maybe, but there could also be a much more mundane explanation.

“We’re not sure what it is yet,” meteorologist Llyle Barker, told the Journal Star. “4G has caused interference before, so it might be a 4G tower.”

The Weather Service has stated that the interference is mostly harmless and hasn’t really impacted them, so they probably won’t look into it much more.

HAARP is awesome

apparently it controls the weather, causes quakes, controls minds, talks to aliens and now can jam radar

simply amazing

:p

It seems to be an obsession of the tin foil crowd.

Someday I wouldn’t mind knowing what it really is, but the wild theories just get in the way,

I guessing more like equipment failure causing a glitch in 1 section of the radar scan circumfrence

Notice it expands radially (gets wider the farther it is away from the center) and seems to be a contant angle

The new radar set at Lincoln just came on line around this same time in November. Gee Wally, I’ll bet it has something to do with that. I see it still picks up windmill farms though, as witnessed here north of Lincoln and northwest of Bloomington.

This almost certainly a software issue, or, potentially, some kind of interference, even from a source inside the station. Radars now rely on sophisticated analysis and display programs to project their data. If those programs or embedded software go bad, then almost anything can be displayed or obscured. The US military apparently has begun to develop the ability to disrupt enemy radars in this manner using electronic transmissions to inject computer viruses into enemy radar systems.

A lot of weather doppler radar sits around 3.6Ghz, so does some of the 4G gear at 3.65Ghz....

Although they are not supposed to interfere...stuff happens

I had some Motorola gear on a rooftop by the Ft. Lauderdale airport, each revolution by the radar caused an automatic signal drop in the gear....PIA....

Switched frquencies for the gear aimed the airports diection, problem solved....

As I suspected; there are windmills there. The writers of the article would know with basic research, that windmills mess with weather radar returns.

High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP)

They use large antenna arrays to pump energy (high freq radio signals) into the atmosphere. Many theories as to what it does; everything from a sensing array for stealth aircraft, weather control, mind control, communications, long range sensors and more.

Since this is a weather radar, the problem must be caused by Global Warming. It causes everything else weather related or not.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

It also slices, dices, makes Julian Lennons!

It will get rid of that unsightly razor stubble!

It'll slice bread, onions, potatoes, garden hose and steel pipe! Without losing its edge!

Order before midnight tonight, and save shipping charges. Allow four to six weeks for delivery. Your actual mileage may vary.

Practical and basic research. It is a phased-array RF beam designed to manipulate the ionosphere, put simply, to enable over-the-horizon radar among other things - adapting to changes in the "maximum usable frequency" as needed.
