This whole rap, hip-hop industry intrigues me. I've tried to listen to some of it at different times over the years and find no musical enjoyment or artistic value there. Maybe I'm too critical to judge the artistic value, but it all sounds the same and woefully void of anything memorable.
Aside from that though, I am more intrigued by the praise given to the back beat of thuggery and the lavish lifestyles the artists live. It seems to be the epitome of everything Obama speaks against; money come easy taken from others, success at the expense of others and excessive consumption fueled by greed.
I’d bet he’s paying their full rides too.....
