Last resort here. For the life of me I can't locate a specific app on my samsung galaxy s3 in files to transfer it to my PC and then transfer it to my son's kindle fire. My old android phone was easy; this one shows no apk files readily. I've gone through astro file manager etc to no avail. Any thoughts on locating a specific app on this particular phone for transfer? Thank you.
FTP
Get a “smarter” phone?
I use WiFi File Transfer app.
Ask for a refund because your “smart phone” seems to be as smart as Slow Joe .... take your refund and buy an old Android phone.
I believe Photosync will do any type of files......
Or a smarter owner.
Can you back it up to a gmail account then load gmail onto kindle and download it? not too familiar with kindle, but i do this with gmail to get apps from phone to tablets. Or use dropbox or similar. hope that helps.
That’s how I do it from the iphone.
Works well.
Do you have a Samsung Allshare app?
http://www.samsung.com/global/allshare/pcsw/
You can also connect via a USB cable if you have the right driver file.
Use SkyDrive app.

See if there is an Android version of Dropbox. I use it between my iPad and my PC.
