Curbside Langer's for National Pastrami Day (1/14 Pastrami Day)

Is there any other way to celebrate such an auspicious holiday as National Pastrami Day than with a #19 from Langer's? Nope. That meat. That bread. The slaw. No doubt there's a line at the MacArthur Park deli right at this moment, so we recommend getting it to go; the wait won't be as bad. Or just call ahead and they'll bring your order out to your car. Yep, curbside pastrami. Nothing better (704 S. Alvarado St.; 213-483-8050).
KEYWORDS: holidays; meat; pastami
My favorite sandwich in NYC is the pastrami at Fine and Schapiro
on West 72nd St. I used to live around the corner...wonderful place.

Yep. I always order the #44, piled hi pastrami, toasted rye, nubby cheese, sourkraut.
What, today is National Pastrami Day? And here I had a BLT for lunch. Silly me...

Didn’t know this but had a nice pastrami sandwich for lunch. Real greasy pastrami. Yummm.
