This is an official made up word for explaining why your homework isn’t done: The dog ate my homework so it’s in test ate. My dog has eaten so much homework we call him Test Ate so my homework is intestate.

my paralegal was in my ofc this AM about the gun control stuff and just generally moaning about the current state of affairs. i said, honestly, i am praying for the second coming, bc i have no hope for anything better happening on earth!

Megastorm Sandy caused megabucks in damages, and it is obvious to all that massive relief funds are needed. So, the dems put up a relief bill that is laden with pork, putting the republicans into the usual quandary—damned if you do, and damned if you don’t.
If republicans trash the bill because of the un-Sandy-like extras the dems put in, the media will show poor, newly homeless people in NY or NJ who are unable to get assistance because republicans won’t sign off on the bill.
If republicans go along with the bill, they are contributing to an ever-increasing deficit, and aiding liberal strongholds such as unions and the environmental whackos.
Our side never seems to learn how the game is played. We keep bringing a knife to a gunfight, keep playing checkers while they are playing chess. Just once, I’d like to hold up a democrat-favored bill (how about the increase in the debt ceiling?) by sticking in a poison pill such as, oh, I don’t know—making Voter IDs mandatory.

no one knows that. there is extensive pre-trib/post-trib eschatology and it’s all conjecture. Only God knows the date and the time, and it could be any time. Besides its the protestants that go around the bend with the pre-post trib stuff!

Since you asked...That came from our local bartender who happens to be profoundly blind. No worries though, he swears he can tell the difference between the drinks by putting his finger into the liquid and by all accounts he’s right well accurate.
Now the more fastidious reader might say this is “unsanitary” but the barkeep has very clean hands despite working at the garage and putting in cheap pace makers during the day.
Besides, he licks the booze off between drinks.

A couple of more years of Liberals Gone Wild might finally get this country to bottom out, like a drunk waking up from a two-week bender, and give us the will to head in the opposite direction. By that time, however, in many areas we will be so far past the point of no return that no rehab would be possible.
