When will America's foreign enemies begin to take advantage of the animosity that many Americans are harboring towards their government? It would seem to me that it's not a winning proposition to go up against ATF swat teams, with even the best assault weapons when they arrive in front of your home and kick down your door. If however, their arrival was greeted with an RPG provided by Iran, or some other country who would like to see America devolve into a country in the grips of a civil war. I believe many would like to overthrow the current government, as there doesn't seem to be any way to get redress for the citizen's complaints. We find that even our democratic electoral process to be corrupted such that we no longer believe that the results accurately reflect the citizen's wishes.
Given Pravda's recent commentaries complaining about how Obama is dragging our country down the road of communism, and how many millions would be killed in the process, how many of us would refuse training and arms provided by Russia? Of course the Russians wouldn't act overtly, but would instead go through a third party. The president and the democratic party should realize that sowing such great discontent and discord will only lead to a country less secure, and one in which the government does face the real prospect of the people getting the proper weaponry to overthrow the government from foreign enemies of our country. It is the unintended consequences of the "Chicago way" of governance which will bring this country to its knees, eventually.
0bama will use any kind of incident to seize more power.
The intended consequences of Obama’s mode of governance will make this country a Socialist Autocracy.

I would not be surprised if Russia covertly funded a covert Alaska independence movement. China would also likely be involved and during the confusion, the Chinese would slip into Taiwan. A weakened US in the pacific would inevitably draw Japan and possibly Australia into China’s sphere of influence.
One needn't wait that long.

Actually, I’ve been wondering if Putin was going to start shipping containers of old AK-47s and 7.62x39 over here: the Russian forces now all have AK-74/AKMs, and are starting to move to the new AK-12. Get rid of old stock AND paralyze your biggest competitor. The Russians would LOVE to see us fight Civil War II, and it would screw the Chinese investment in the US. . .

And I really believe it was the plan of the evil opportunist in the White House all along. All he’s done is divide us and capitalize on that division.
SWAT teams are trained to go slow, encircle, and then overwhelm. If they find themselves surrounded by a superior force, I think they would likely fall apart.
In a hypothetical situation where the police/agencies were controlled by anti-Constitutional aliens attacking otherwise peaceful citizens and acting on anonymous tips, it would be possible to imagine well planned ambushes taking place. Rural location, easily cutoff from immediate ground support, helicopters identified and disabled on the ground at T+0, outer snipers in place before SWAT snipers take positions, refuge-support vehicles hit with gasoline mortars at the very start.
A TV NEWS crew might even have been called and allowed through to ensure that pictures of a cuffed SWAT team in their underwear makes the nightly news.
Captured agents being photographed, fingerprinted, and paroled for a one-time chance to repent.
All hypothetical fiction of course, its not like anyone has given that sort of thing any thought. I mean that's just crazy talk and nothing like that could ever happen in this country. Right?
