Corrine Brown - I'm proud of my Rep /s

Dear Friends,

When I took the oath of office earlier this month, I did so on behalf of a Congressional district with a new name and new shape. Effective January 3, 2013, Florida's Third Congressional District became the Fifth Congressional District with some new borders. You can see the changes here. The outstanding service you have come to expect from me and my staff will not change.

One thing that Congress got right so far this year is the extension on the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The EITC boosts the incomes of working families. Each year, it lifts over six million workers out of poverty.

The EITC reduces the amount of income tax you owe and can mean cash back up to $5,891. If your household earned between $1 and $50,270 in 2012, you may be eligible.

To receive the credit, you must meet the eligibility requirements and you must file a tax return specifically claiming it. Please see my website for more details or visit for an in-depth explanation. This year, Congress also extended the Child Tax Credit and the American Opportunity Tax Credit for college tuition. These middle-class tax credits were dramatically expanded in 2009 as part of the stimulus bill, but were set to expire in 2012.

If you need help filing your tax forms or claiming the EITC or many other tax credits, call 1-800-906-9887 to ask about the free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program near you.

I hope that all of you who qualify take advantage of these valuable credits and the resources available for help with tax preparation. If you need assistance with anything else, please contact one of my offices.

This woman is a complete embarrassment to the United States Congress. Some of these black representatives like Corrine Brown, Hank Johnson, Maxine Waters, etc, sound like completely uneducated ghetto people. Many of them are crooked too, and pretty much everyone they work with in Congress knows it.
