It is SAID there’s a vid showing the cops recovering the AR from a car trunk, but all I have seen is cops recovering either a Saiga shotgun or a Remi 11-87, or an AK.

The daughter of a friend of mine is a world champion.
Most states don’t require long guns to be registered and very few require handguns to be registered. Almost all do NOT require a permit to purchase a gun. What are the laws of this particular state? Did she buy from some private person? Did she buy in another state and then move? This article is lacking a ton of information and seems to me to be written merely to stir up sh**.
She grew up with guns. Did she own these before registration requirements? I don’t know what the gun laws are in Connecticut but do you really need a permit for a long gun???
I know what a “concealed carry permit” is - - I’ve had one for decades; any non-felon over 21 can get one here in Pennsylvania in 15 minutes - - but what on earth is a “gun permit”? Is that what Time is talking about? Please don’t tell me people need permits just to own guns in their own homes in some states...
Seems you’d only need a permit if you were going to conceal carry, at least in my state. I’ve owned guns for 20+ years and just got my ccw two years ago come next month.
