Well, yes, I am serious, because this is something that I take seriously. As to your children being “normal” I’m sure they are, by your standards, since everyone, whether they are grass-eating nudists or merely Oprah-watchers who put ketchup on all their food, including icecream, thinks that the way that they are is normal.
The question is not whether you and your family are normal - it’s about, I say again, about having been deprived of the greatest gift of childhood, which is a belief in magic. Even children who have grown up in abject poverty have had that. You can keep laughing, reveling in the flat literal-mindedness of the world you live in. I still pity you and what you did to your children.
Make sure to watch past the first minute or so. It starts off slowly.
