Obama Advisers: Obama’s theory of government is he is the government
Examiner ^ | January 20, 2013 | Kevin Kervick

Posted on 01/20/2013 6:31:58 PM PST by Twotone

As was revealed in a breathtaking New York Times opinion piece today, many of Barack Obama's top advisers feel alienated from him. There is a sense within the White House that President Obama's theory of government is that "he is the government". Apparently, President Obama has personalized the presidency to such an extent that it is now seen as more about the man than about the position. Certainly that is not how the American Founding Fathers viewed the presidency.

The author of this article, David Rothkopf, characterizes the president as a poor manager who is also aloof and a poor listener. He describes a fragmented White House team that is dysfunctional.

Yes. We know.

And the clueless Legislative branch and the absolutely worthless Judicial branch are letting El Bozo rule like a king over a bunch of peasants. Thousands of brave Americans have died on battle fields all over the world to keep our freedoms, and these lazy, unprincipled doofuses are letting a small cadre of Marxists hatched at our Leftist universities take over our economy and our country. That is simply disgraceful. All of them should be impeached for refusing to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.

"L'État, c'est moi" -- Louis XIV

In the long run... that kind of thinking led to M. Doctor Guillotine's device being used for political purposes.

This topic is going get more interesting by the day.

I cannot wait until this, this “thing” tries to shut down a newspaper. I know, it is unlikely, since the publishers adore him, but one may fall a bit out of line pursuing a story along these lines.

Louis XIV supposedly is the one who first said "L'État, c'est moi" ~ but it's more likely that was simply thought of his attitude by those who had to deal with him up front.

Much of our Bill of Rights was written with this particular tyrant ~ the King of France ~ in mind!

Obama clearly thinks of himself as constituting the same sort of personage.

This is the fault of the pathetic news media who are so intellectually vapid as to believe the drivel they've written about this guy. Their job is to report the news, in as unbiased a manner as possible - not to pick sides, protect their chosen ones, and make celebrities out of politicians. The whole Camelot thing with the Kennedys was ridiculous and way, way over the top, and they've been doing the same with those they support ever since. It's really unprofessional, beneath the dignity of a real news organization, and frankly, destructive to the nation.

I think Obama is a "low information" president. He thinks he knows, but he has been mal-indoctrinated, if I may coin a term, his entire life.

Actually the guillotine was used on Louis XVI, a man who actually supported the expansion of democratic governmental forms and the opening of French society to the dispossesed.

After that was a brief return to Louis XIV's form of government and 'la Grande Terreur' ~ that was followed by the Thermidorian reaction, etc.

Louis XVI in his last days was both defended by his cousins the Bouille family (see Lafayette) and hounded by his cousins, the Bouille family. There are dozens of folks by that family name in and around the French royal family in the early 1790s. They tried to save the king right down to the very end.

Admiral Bouille, a hero to Americans in the Revolution is actually condemned personally in the French national anthem. Stand only out of respect for the law ~ not for what they are singing ~ and never sing the song along with them. It is unpatriotic, and in some quarters, treasonous behavior!

Hussein and the Mooch’s arrogance knows no bounds. There will be a hard, long fall for these 2 at some point. I just hope I live to see it. I am BO’s age. B. Hussein Obama IS the Anti-Christ for America.

The minds and emotions of Obama’s voting enablers have been frozen into oblivious support for whatever Obama wants to do.

Nicoleae Carpathia in the fiction book “Left Behind” is what Obama is in real life.

Those who see, and those who hear are ignored or otherwise marginalized by the Obama enablers.

As America struggles to awake from its “White Guilt” first Election (2008), the dawning reality of its first Bolshevik Communist Election (2012) has yet to reach the fear level of action that is the hallmark of American response to mortal danger, for example the Pearl Harbor response in 1941.

To put it in an historical context, the 2008 Election of B. Hussein Obama was analogous to the Japanese Fleet leaving Tokyo Bay for Pearl Harbor.

The Passage and Court approval of Obama’care’ was equivalent to the bombing of The Arizona on 12-7-41.

We are finished as a Republic as long as we continue to hire RINOs to be doormats for Communist Obama’s enablers.

The blame goes not to the Communists, as they are just doing what Communists do best.

The blame goes to the lack of loyal supporters of our Republic who are in the US Congress.

The end of our Republic will not end well if the current RINO leadership domination of Republicans in the US House and Senate continues - - - .

It believed it then. It does now.

Of course he is. In his narcissistic mind. I am becoming more and more convinced the man has a screw loose. I know he's a radical leftist and is determined to turn the US into a turd world hell hole with him as dicktator for life. But I think he's actually ill.

Verily Intelestering:

"In popular culture

She was sometimes nicknamed "Codoi", referring to her alleged mispronunciation of the name of the chemical compound CO2 ("Co" being the C for carbon, O for oxygen, and "doi" being Romanian for "two").

She was mocked by many, including an official who called her by this nickname during her show trial.[15][16][17][18] Contributing to the humorous effect, "codoi" is an actual word in Romanian, meaning "big tail"[19]"
