In Mississippi, if kindergarteners violates the dress code or act out in class, they may end up in the back of a police car.
A story about one five-year-old particularly stands out. The little boy was required to wear black shoes to school. Because he didnt have black shoes, his mom used a marker to cover up his white and red sneakers. A bit of red and white were still noticeable, so the child was taken home by the cops.
The child was escorted out of school so he and his mother would be taught a lesson.

Why was this child not executed for this heinous crime?!?
Coz teachers aren’t allowed to carry guns on school campus.
Coz teachers aren’t allowed to carry guns on school campus.
Zero tolerance = zero need for critical thinking.
Traumatise a child, yeah, that’s real smart. That is the kind of extremist mindset that typified Nazism in Germany. Does anyone still think that something just as radical as Nazism can’t happen over here?
And some of us still think the police will come to our aid during the coming crisis......
Nope. They’re just good for shooting dogs and terrifying 5 year olds.
It IS happening here and this is a prime example of the progressive fascist mindset of groupthink.
It brooks no variance...thinking is not allowed.
The child will either be broken to obey or will be lost to rage.
[**I know its not that black and white**]
When do we as taxpayers say STOP THIS RETARDED MADNESS!!!
We need to pass more laws and rules!!! /s
America has become a joke; an idiot nation full of foolishness.
This is but one example.
You know, you might have just hit on something that has been eluding me for some time. That is, why are we spiraling down the toilet and why do “some” people look up to a “strong man” like Obama to solve their problems?
It could very well be that there are TOO DAMN MANY LAWS on the books now. When I was growing up I always heard that what made America unique was that we were “A Nation of Laws” not men. We were taught that no one was above the law be they a ditch digger or the President of the United States.
Now it seems to be if you are a “Democrat” then the law doesn’t matter. And now people look to them to show the way through the morass of laws that they themselves were instrumental in shoving down our throats.
What a strange land I find myself in compared to my childhood and I find myself just as lost as the rest it seems.
That’s a great point. I definitely have mixed feelings about teachers having guns. It’s bad enough the cops have them. I had teachers who would have shot some kids for insulting them. I had quite a few crazy teachers. One of them recently shot and killed his wife and blamed it on his daughter’s boyfriend.
And we think the South might rise again on the 2A? Not if this stands.
I see a rich little boy after a law suit that is certain to come.
Use this, media, as your example Obama tyranny, for low information voters. They won’t like hearing of this.
Shouldn’t everyone reserve their indignation for an incident which actually occurred?
I live in MS, and have a first grader in Desoto county schools. No such rule exist here.

This is a fine argument for secession as a cure for tyranny. /s
Was the child black? Wouldn’t the MIssissippi police shot him in the back of his head if he were black?
HERE'S ANOTHER Kindergartner Suspended Over Bubble Gun Threat
I think there's more to the story, but on it's face. it's flat out outrageous.
An adult thing to do might have been to take then kid out to get a pair of black shoes and send him back to class.
Evidenty it was firmly planted on a five year old's throat.
>>The child was escorted out of school so he and his mother would be taught a lesson.<<
Good job. Good lesson. Wonder why inner city yute hate cops? If I was that cop, I would have broke rank, [faced the consequences] and not taken the call.
Most schools have discretionary funds. The principal could have stepped in. But then we couldn’t have *favoritism*, could we?
“We’re after power and we mean it. You fellows were pikers, but we know the real trick, and you’d better get wise to it. There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them...you create a nation of lawbreakers and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Rearden.”
— Dr. Floyd Ferris, “Atlas Shrugged”
This is based on an ACLU and NAACP ‘study.’ No school or school district is named, There are no specifics whatsoever just a general condemnation of MS. And no one questions it, just knee jerk reactions here?
Some people just like to be indignant. It’s so much more fun. Too much trouble to actually read the article and fine out it is most likely BS.
Their sole is on their jack boots.
Exactly. You could turn that around in my case. Since there’s no way I would ever trust the government schools with my kids, why would I trust them to have guns?
Wrong! The Nazis would have just given the kid a pair of black shoes taken from a murdered Jewish kid. /sorry
Seriously, though, even the Nazis weren't that anal about crap like this.
This heinous crime may be a blessing in disguise: I keep hearing rumblings about bringing back the draft, but with a rap sheet like this, this kid is an automatic reject!
I’m with you - not likely written in truth. besides, the author and the commenters are once again busily painting a broad stroke of a people with nothing but a really lame story to go on.
There is NOTHING duct tape can’t do.
Maybe we should send some to our congresscritters so they can fix the country, ‘cause whatever they are using now ain’t sticking.
I wonder what really happened.
No names, dates, places or corroborating sources of any nature whatever. (And no skepticism from anyone on this site).
"When you break the big laws, you do not get liberty; you do not even get anarchy. You get the small laws." - GK Chesterton
Sadly, he was NOT being sarcastic. GKC knew the score.
We do not need to get good laws to restrain bad people. We need to get good people to restrain us from bad laws. - ibid.
People are crazy, therefore nobody should be able to own guns at all.
I was taught how to carry and shoot by a teacher, many moons ago. Wonderful man.
zero tolerance = those in authority don’t have to worry about being accountable for exercising discretion.
I was just reading about the kindergarten girl suspended for taking a Hello Kitty bubble “gun” to class. I recall thinking that was the bottom of the pit.
Students on a school bus were throwing peanuts at one another. Because one of the peanuts hit the female bus driver, five black male high school students were arrested on felony assault charges.
A student was sent to a juvenile detention center for wearing the wrong color socks. It was considered to be a probation violation from a previous fight.
Was the kid properly cuffed before they threw him in the police car?
A friend of mine had to spray paint his white sneakers black for a waiter/serving job years ago ...
What was the lesson?
If you don't have black shoes, steal a pair?!
I can’t wait for the day when parents can just plunk their kids in front of a computer and let them learn at home.
I don’t doubt that this story is true. I’ve read enough about zero tolerance policies and the idiots who are running public schools not to believe it.
Public schools that have zero tolerance policies are toxic to kids.
