Today at work, I did not hear one person discuss the inauguration of Obama Monday. Not one person. I work in MA and nave numerous liberal co-workers. Anone have similar experiences?
The day after the election, no one talked about the outcome either. Just walked around eerily silent.
I was traveling yesterday so I listened on the radio. Bounced from MSNBC to CNN to FOX News.
I laughed the whole trip!
MSNBC made it sound like the second coming of Christ.
CNN was more on the lines of “Everyone loves a parade! Look! Pretty Balloons!”
Fox was, “Satan has landed. And he’s in DC.”
Just too funny! I did get a kick out of what seemed to be a somewhat intoxicated Ben Stein getting a little inappropriate about Obama’s kids. They cut away fairly quickly and he was nowhere to be heard later.
It was a typical MSM Joke. The three idiot networks doing what they are paid to do. Be left, be right, and CNN....? Ummm.... This wasn’t the Macy’s Day Parade. I don’t think CNN got the memo. All in all, made a long trip very entertaining!
I heard 0bama’s speech was better than the Gettysburg address.
Too bad I missed it.

Nope the hairy chinned old biddys who love him were very quiet. I guess the thrill is gone.
I was having a bad day at work and asked that they change the channel. Oh, I get that this is a historical occasion, but I was irritated by the non-stop marching band noise. Played at full volume.
Yeah. Up until about 4 years ago it was B positive.
This was given as an excuse for the poor attendance by one of the organizers....”Also, Monday was a holiday and the campus was closed, as opposed to four years ago, when students were allowed to skip class to watch the Inauguration.”
Shaking my head. Idiots.

4years ago, the world stopped, the Red Sea parted, everyone was wearing the t-shirt and singing the praises.
This time around....meh...

I was too busy working to watch, helping to pay off the national debt.
Four more years.
The UPS guy and I both discussed how neither one of us watched a single minute of the event or the coverage of it.
