For those who have no previous concept of angle of attack, lift vs. drag, and stalls, it’s madness to try to hang glide without some previous instruction in the basics of how a wing works.
This guy doesn’t have a clue, from the very short interval between departure and arrival.
From my experience here’s what I could tell from the video. The hill wasn’t tall enough. The slope of the hill was shallower than the glide ratio of his glider.
