Well, MY Senator (Ron Johnson) made her lose her cool and caused her to shout, “What difference does it make?” (referring to 4 dead Americans in Benghazi.) On Wisconsin!

Almost certainly a wig-I’d give real money to see it swept off by the wind...

One of my aunts always scolded, “pretty is as pretty does”-Michelle Antoinette is coyote ugly...

But, she hasn’t been seen in glasses since her days in AR. When she was younger, she changed hairdos and glasses on a regular basis — almost weekly. Then she started wearing contact lenses and you never saw her photographed in glasses.

I think she’s quite blind because her glasses are very thick. It makes me wonder how much she could see when she was Senator because I don’t think that they can put that much correction into contact lenses. For the few mminutes that I watched her, she looked like she was trying to hide behind those thick lenses.

She had an accent in/shortly after her Arkansas days, too-remember her saying she wasn’t Tammy Wynette “standin’ bhah her maaan...” when Bill was publicly busted by Gennifer Flowers ?

I think also that Hillary is very nearsighted-she has that look of staring concentration sometimes. Maybe she planned on crying if she was verbally trashed in the hearings? Contacts don’t work at all well with tears...

Contacts do come in progressive bi-focal lenses-I’ve worn those for 10 years-once you get used to them, they are as easy to wear as the progressive bi-focal glasses.

I was just talking about the hearings with my neighbor up the road-I brought up the glasses, and she said those black framed nerd ones are cool in some circles for either gender right now, according to her youngest son. We couldn’t figure out why that would be so, but he is in college, so he may know something. But Hillary has never been fashionable before, either...

I’ve been told by people who would know that wigs are often worn by black women. More so than other ethnicities.

So many celebrity/public figure type women seem to wear wigs or hairpieces now-I swear I haven’t seen so many worn since the early 70’s, and then I even had a wig and a couple of little updo hairpieces.

Michelle Antoinette likely wears wigs to get a “look” without having to change her own hair constantly, like a lot of female stage performers do. Madonna and Dolly Parton come to mind-and that one who looks like a
Barbie doll gone wrong-Nicki something-or another

I wonder if it is an ethnic thing, like more false eyelashes and push-up bras on Hispanic women for evening wear? I’ve noticed the wigs and hairpieces on singers/stage performers for years, and they all seem to use them whatever their ethnicity.

Our support staff is 100% minority and that’s very true. So it’s a new wig for the next 4 yrs.

You’re going to wear one, too? What color and style?

They must be wigs....her natural hair would be kinky/frizzy looking and she would constantly be fussing with it to keep it that straight. I go with the wig answer.

Michelle Obama has several wigs. See how easily she switches from the little knot on the back of her head to a full blown page boy. Check out some of her vacaation sequences such as when she took the whole family to England their first summer.

I’m told that most black women wear wigs frequently. It saves on struggling with kinky hair. I borrowed a wig one time when a friend wanted me to go out to dinner on short notice. It was miserable — very tight on my skull and itched. It felt like a tight, rubber swim cap. I decided that I’d never buy one, even though I have lots of challenging hair days.

My more stylish friend informs me that michelle’s hair do is called a “Brazilian Blow Cut” and is all the rage among the hollywood set. There is something about that name that sounds a little slimy.
