With the craze for guns and ammo, are there any decent sources for bulk .223/5.56 ammo?
I'm good on .30-06 and 7.62. But I need to load up on stuff for the AR.
Ideas? Direction?

Nope. ALL sources have been snapped up. Some places will put you on back order, but there is no telling when it will be filled.
The local DHS warehouse, but bring a fast forklift.

Sgammo.com had some in last Friday, I think $500 for 1000 rounds. It didn’t last long. There was still inventory shortly after I got the notification they had stock. If you are willing to pay $1/round gun broker.com has plenty.
You need to monitor several online vendors, and strike while the iron is hot. Wideners had IMI .556 in case lots yesterday. I don’t think it lasted long though. You gotta be ready to pull thr trigger quickly.

Not meaning to be rude but I have to make this comment, same reply I have made to another dozen firearms forums of the same question.
Go start a 2A revolution, when you can get your militia all set up you will be GIVEN ammunition.
Different distances/platforms.

If you live in SoCal there is a Huge gunshow at the Orange County Fair Grounds in Costa Mesa this weekend, 26-27 Jan.
The ammo sellers there will have bulk ammo, etc. The show opens at 9:00 AM Sat BUT the ticket line usually starts at 6:00 AM. 10’s of 1000’s are expected to be there. See’ya!

If you’d only let me know. I sold 3k of .556 last week along with an awesome AR-15. Picked up an Accuracy Intl. 300WM.
Anyone have any experience with PMC X-Tac?
I found 1000 rds for $750.
