The bottom line isn't the issue here (and Safeway isn't a Christian employer.) Her filthy mouth is.

What if an obvious prostitute came in to by a gallon of milk? Would it be OK for her to say, "oh, you're a f***ing whore"? Although true, saying so would be uncivilized, uncouth, bad business, and just stupid hiring practice.

“The bottom line isn’t the issue”

The bottom line is entirely the issue here. That is why you’re sandbagging the employee.

I wasn’t talking about safeway. I was talking about you. Presumably you’re a Christian employer?

What if a crackhead stopped in the store. Isn’t the store allowed to refuse service? Last I checked - it is the prerogative of the store whom they choose to do business with.

As for my business, do I sometimes do business for gay people? Sure. If you want me to work for you - you have to show respect. If you cram your decisions in my face, I will not work for you. I’d love having a strong lady with a spine working for me when I knew what her values were.
