This is the same Tina Turner who gushed over the election of Obama in 2008, declaring that “We got a new President”. Clearly she no longer considers herself part of the WE or that she has any responsibility to help pay for the madness that her hero has inflicted on America.

they’re not weird, they’re ‘eccentric’.
weird is the poor people sniffing bath salts.
Fifteen years ago I worked with a client who was born in Switzerland, but his mother was Dutch, so he traveled under a Dutch passport. Maybe the Swiss have liberalized their naturalization procedures, but my impression is that it is incrediably difficult to get Swiss citizenship. Obviously, Ms Turner has overcome those difficulties.
That’s worth an Amen here.
So she’s leaving the United Solicialist States of America for Switzerland......good for her.
Another, like Denise Rich, who wants to impose socialism on America, then flee before it affects them.
I thought you either had to be born Swiss or marry a Swiss citizen .

See Posts #20 and 21 above
Under new rules crammed thru last year the Obama Administration is going to extract the last few drops of blood from her hide in the form of “exit taxes and fees” before allowing her to become an ex-American.
Swiss chocolate, baby!
well, i think it very rare to become a Swiss citizen - they don’t like outsiders to mess up their country. Just what I heard few yrs ago
Good for her...Who gives a rats ass what Tina Turner does with her fortune?
I think she spends the winter at a place along the Riviera. There was a “60 Minutes” profile of her some years ago that showed it.
You are correcto mundo.....”Exit taxes and fees” may take a big bite out of Tina Turners fortune...Redistribution doncha know Tina?
The Swiss, unlike our domestic rats, are dedicated to preserving their heritage.
Wonder if the Swiss will issue her a passport before the US gives her the go-ahead?
