What is the bias that FR (and some others) have against sending email to addresses at @Reagan.com. ? My current email no longer exists and went out of business almost 8 years ago but FR refuses to budge on a current and viable email address.

That complimentary email hasn’t worked in years and it was only for receiving, not sending.

I’m sorry. The mail server John was using to supply freerepublic.com email addresses crashed and burned. So far, he’s been reluctant to install a new one. Don’t know at this time whether or not he’s going to reinstate the service.

As far as I know, there are no restrictions on registering to FR using reagan.com email addreses.

Maybe you should talk your son into installing another email server and allow people to subscribe and pay monthly for a freerepublic.com email address might turn a donation to the cause into a tax deductible business expense for some of us and ease the fundraising pressure a tad.

Well..... I’ve been doing fine so far, so I guess I can just give up on FR email.

No. I switched to Yahoo for awhile then migrated to Gmail. Now my important stuff is Reagan.com and I was hoping that I would have FreeRepublic.com could be my backup so that I could completely drop Gmail and the junk mail that Gmail seems to accumulate.
