‘Distasteful and one Bond girl couldn’t act’: 007 writer Sebastian Faulks pans latest film

Skyfall, the latest James Bond blockbuster that grossed more than US$1 billion in ten weeks, has been lambasted by author Sebastian Faulks.

Faulks, who was commissioned by the estate of Bond creator Ian Fleming to write a Bond novel, described the film as 'pretty distasteful', criticised some of the acting and said the film's attempts to show a sensitive side to the spy hero had failed.

Yes-—the “homoeroticism” for the sodomy mafia-—the continuation of making the greatest heroes in Western Civilization (or cartoon characters) into homosexuals——to normalize the behavior for the boys.......like they do in the “open” culture of Afghanistan where women are despised.

They would have made Bond into a homosexual (instead of Bi) and eliminated the Bond girls-—but they are 10 years ahead of the curve. They have to wait for additional demasculation of Western men-—and the total elimination of Christian Ethics which put women on a pedestal. A return to Samurai culture-—or the Ancient pagan/occult religions of Freemasonry where sodomy is their required “rite” or at least like the arab societies where sodomy is the recreation of 90% of the men (which always includes little boys).

.....and teach the boys that killing women is “good” and a “right”—put women into combat and treat them in that Marxist way-—”radical egalitarianism” so they remove their dignity and worth embedded in the Christian Culture which elevated women and celebrated femininity and created a society which celebrates the difference of male and female and created the idea of “Romance”-—unlike every other culture, which still treat women like dogs.

As a template for churning out big bucks over a long period of time - it is impossible to find another theme series that has had to adapt itself to the greatly changing political and military world we live in that continually makes huge profits in the USA and abroad.

Yes there are flaws and goofs and scenes like a red Mustang MACH that enters an alley tipped up on on two wheels and them magically leaves it on the opposite two wheels - but with Sean Connery at the wheel who really noticied - or cared?

James Bond flicks are a money machine that just will not quit.

The box office the first 3-4 007 films took in compared to the total investment was incredible.

In “DR NO” the producers rented a local Sunbeam Alpine and had a scene where 007 was closely followed by a heavy old sedan.

In “GOLDENEYE” 007 had a chase scene involving a much-dated circa 1963 Aston Martin DB5 playing bumper cars with a new Ferrari 355 GTSi Targa Top - a Ferrari 308 GTS (Magnum PI - Tom Selleck’s wheels) would have gotten more FREE attention and been a better (SLOWER) match for a vintage straight-6 OHC powered touring coupe (Yeah - I know an Aston Martin won LeMans in 1959 with Carroll Shelby at the wheel nursing an ailing and mucho tired heart)

In the novel “GOLDFINGER” Bond’s early chase was not with a white 1964-1/2 Ford Mustang convertible - but a battleship gray Triumph TR3A roadster - but both Ford and the 007 producers benefited from using a brand new Mustang pony car - and Fords were prominently used in many 007 movies - many were built and wrecked - as Ford bought both Aston Martin and Jaguar - not the smartest of corporate moves by a automotive corporation (both the silver Aston Martin [alleged] V12 coupe and the BRG Jag roadster were sitting on custom engineered Ford Explorer 4WD chassis and had Ford Boss 302 engines) in “DIE ANOTHER DAY”

Ford’s biggest goofs was to let Carroll Shelby own and sell the Cobra (Ford V8) sportscars instead of manufacturing them at Ford (like GM has done with the Corvette for 60 years) or sub-contracting the manufacture to a NASCAR racecar builder

Shelby never made a one dime selling the Shelby Cobra roadsters (they were actually late 60s AC Bristol powered Ace roadsters with a V8 Ford engine - copied from a very quickly modified AC-Chevy with a 3-day engine swap in a small truck and tractor repair shop in Pompano Florida for John Schultz who was tired after 3 sucessive Bristol engine overhauls came apart) - Carroll Shelby’s income actually came from FoMoCo and numerous sponsors - and fees from Ford for the Shelby Mustang GT350s and GT500s that now go for hundreds of thousands of buckeroos at Barrett-Jackson Auctions

- Incidentally - James Bond’s car was almost - almost - a Type-E Jaguar - just a tad sleeker and faster than an Aston Martin DB5 coupe and rated as all-time #1 by Enzo Ferrari and the motoring public

There was one 007 movie that seemed to have every car in the film a Chevrolet - it was painfully obvious

What would Ian Fleming - or James Bond do for a current Bond car?

Well - both had a fascination for modifying their cars (Fleming had a Studillac) and Bond drove an early 30s Bentley with a supercharger - I would venture that Fleming/Bond would have the Aston Martin DB5 updated with twin turbochargers or a vane-type supercharger (better response and no power lag), a paddle-shifted 6-8 speed automatic, and a much improved suspension/tire/wheel/brake package - and skip the dumb invisible cloaking crapola from “DIE ANOTHER DAY”

- Or swap in a Corvette V8 or Ford V8 crate engine with an Edelbrock supercharger -

If it works at Daytona, LeMans, ALMS - it would work in a James Bond movie

- But what do I know?

- ask John Schultz..... or Bill Keefe.....
