I was in Academy Friday. No .22 LRs to be seen.

Isn’t the slower velocity better for more internal damage?
Don’t have to worry about an angry parole in the future.

This is Barrys plan to boost employment. HLS ordered 7000 Ar15s to help the economy. There is no reason to let any surplus build up on store shelves. /s)

From what I’ve seen, people are buying anything and everything anticipating a ban or shortage; even if they don’t own a firearm for it.
I was considering buying a 45-70 revolver from a friend a short while back and when I checked the store for ammo, no one had any. They said they usually do but the boxes that sat there for years and years all flew off the shelf along with everything else.
You know there is panic buying when even odd sizes like that are gone.

Buy the new Ruger 10/22 takedown. Put your name on a list since they go out the minute they come in. Buy .22 when you can find it.

I’ve got 5250 rounds on order. I don’t expect to see it until March, hopefully.

Gold Standard?
Have you tried to buy some rifle brass?
You can find .243, .270 and a few others. But try to find .223, 30-30, .308, 30-06 and most common calibers and you draw a blank.
Surely, the idiots in DC can see the effect. Shelves are bare of cartridges for those calibers too.
This has been going on since November and is getting worse.
Caution is in order, I feel Obozo would love to provoke a reason to do even worse than he is.
FUBO!

Maybe reloaders are hoarding all the brass /sarc>

Can't believe people are out of .22.
Still have some from when Remington sold them in the
500 per *milk carton* containers when West Brothers Discount went out of business.

People are going to .22 for cheapest target practice. Only now it’s not so cheap.

I am claiming to be the 22 lr rifle, accessories, and ammo expert. Why? Because I have spent three months researching every gun company and ammo company I could find on the net every day, looking for a Ruger 22 lr and 22 lr hollow point bullets. While doing that, I would also see there are no 22 lr rifle made by any company for sale. I watched Rugers go, before the crunch hit, for $150, and by the time I found a Ruger 22 rifle, the price was $260 and I bought it. I just saw that same rifle today for $370.
During these months, I've managed to get a Hot Lips 25 cartridge magazine for it and now those are gone. I found I could order a Ruger made one from the company website and I have done that and waiting for it to get here. Those are going for $100-150 now from individuals on auction, but the Ruger company price was in the $30s.
I just today found where I could get CCI hollow points for it, coming to that company next week and I'm not telling where that is until I get mine ordered and I hope I'm fast enough to get them before they're gone and they are not expensive for a package of 375.
If any of you have done more to find them and their accessories and ammo than I have, I'll give my expert title to you.

I made a lucky hit on an internet website a few nights ago, bought 5 boxes of 375 count CCI Mini Mags ... I had my order confirmed and by the time I typed a text to my buddies ... they were sold out again.
Craziest thing I have ever seen.

It’s your governments creating an artificial shortage by fiat demands to end a public health hazard.
A good many Americans disagree with their dishonesty and are buying anything and everything in the event these toads achieve their Devil Worshipin, Satanic Inspired, Kommunistuh aims.
He’ll, I’ve got .22’s ot the yin yang and I don’t really shoot .22 much.
