Ummm. No. I don’t live near there.

What irritates me are the pretentious liberal art critics who drive the prices up based on the fact that the artist tells them what they want to hear about their work.
I personally have no interest in telling people how my work makes me feel and would rather they be free to interpret it for themselves. Just this morning I dug this old photo I took out of my files and "painted" it in photoshop. I took the photo several years ago and this morning I decided to play around with it and like it this way too. (In fact I ordered a print for framing)

I much prefer the card players over the Gurskey photo. Its not for me but it could at least be legitimately considered art.

I actually kind of like that and heck, if the photographer can get top dollar, good for him. I usually do concert photos, nothing too artistic, just a hobby. One of my recents.

This one can reach the those on the far left that others cannot. In Madison Wis, a leftist haven, this needs to be prominent. It should go on billboards. It is great!

It may be because it strikes a symbolic note of The River of Life, on a universal subconscious level. At least that is what it did for me, but then again The River of Life is very important to me. Likely those that value it so highly have little conscious knowledge about The River of Life, though.
