For anyone that appreciates wrestling, this is just an epic match-up. Tonight 9PM (EST) on the b1g network.

...nine who are currently ranked in the top five in the country will compete.
Is this "fuzzy math" or social promotion run amok? :)

Still mad that we (Iowa State) lost Cael.

(Lawyers have caused thousands of times more destruction to our nation than have guns)
Go Gophers! I used to wrestle (hockey cheerleaders) in high school. My wrestling name was CanvasBack.

I'm sorry. I tried to resist this "Penn State wrestling" post - but I couldn't
As a fan of college wrestling and specifically as an Oklahoma State fan, I welcome Penn State back as a power. Prior to the last two years, it had been since 1953 for a championship and 1993 as a runner-up for Penn State. It looks like the national championships will be tough for all with just a few matches making the difference in points as they advance or go to the consolations.

(It feels like the seventies, and it shouldn't.)
Pedd State coaches and players have LOTS of experiences grabbing crotches and throwing boys down.

Penn State has, by far, the deepest bench in the NCAA. Their back ups would be starters at all but a few other schools. This is just one of many reasons why they're the best team. These guys come to PSU to wrestle for Cael. Cael has been the best recruiter for PSU wrestling ever, and most of these guys come as walk-ons. Pennsylvania is the best wrestling state in the country and, in the past, their best talent went elsewhere. Not anymore. This will be a great match watching the Iowa style of defend, push, shove and stall vs. the explosive offense of PSU.
If the PSU top tier guys (Taylor, Ruth, Wright) can score lots of bonus points, PSU wins. if not, it could be close. Look to the 174 lb. match as the key (Brown vs. Evans).

(Save me from the people who would save me from myself!)
It is so sad to see what Title IX has done to the secondary sports. Many feminists are motivated not just to advance women’s sports, but destroy the men sports. Wrestling taught me the discipline and many life lessons that helped build my career and develop me as a person. So sad this type of culture is being destroyed by the PC police and feminized college campus. Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for the heads up. I ran video for my son’s varsity HS team for 4 years. It’s taken me a while, but I’m just starting to enjoy watching the college level.
