To the shock of America, Katie Couric admitted she shared an intimate evening with Larry King. Yes, the bespectacled, suspender wearing, grandfatherly TV-news journalist who is 23 years Courics senior.
On last nights Jimmy Kimmel Live, Couric recounted in striking detail about the Italian dinner date she went on with King 26 years ago in Washington, DC.
After dinner, King drove them back to his apartment where he tried to put the moves on her. So we sat there and what can I say, he lunged, Couric said (to the delight/horror of everyone watching probably.)

So Larry King apparently can’t see too well or he would have been easily scared off from this other liberal troll.

So Katie was a prim, proper and naive 30 year old woman working in a cut-throat industry. Yeah, I believe that. If he could have offered her a big job she’d have jumped on him like a starving grizzly bear on a salmon.

Just imagine if they’d had a child. It could play endless rounds of Gotcha with Sarah Palin, but couldn’t remember why.
To: Hot Tabasco
The article says she rebuffed his first lunge. It doesn’t say she turned down his next one. Of course we all believe the young hungry newsgirl turned down the media legend with thousands of contacts that could help her.

From Lunged to Plunged
Must have been the last “lunged” she ever had if she remembers it 26 years later.
Katie, Katie, it’s time to move on...at least you still have a functioning colon,... we know...we’ve seen it on national television! What’s a “lunged” compared to that?
And think about this Perky Katie, maybe it was just a spasm when a suspender came loose.

Actually, things were going quite well for Larry. The lights were low, the wine was good, and sweet music was playing on the radio... And then Larry removed his shirt and Katie was shocked back to horrible reality.

He is almost blind and was probably experiencing another of his heart problems. Katie C. flatters herself to think a blind old geezer with a bad ticker was making a pass at her. After all, he knows her husband died of a malignant a-hole. I will leave it to your imagination who that malignant a-hole was.

He saw her dancing upright and thought she might be into a little horizontal action.
