Take a look at violent crime statistics and who perpetrates most of them, then ask the obvious question: do criminals want to get shot?
They don’t need regulations to get guns.
Gun restrictions in EVERY society were created for one and only one reason. In order to keep “undesirables” from having access to weapons for protection (either to keep oppressing them, or to make them completely dependent on the ruling authorities.)

They, like all liberals, want guns to remain in the hands of the violent “oppressed” criminals, while they do all in their power to take guns away from the evil “oppressor” non-violent honest productive citizens.
