There is a fun little website up that is being run in conjunction with The Walking Dead television show -- which is, by the way, my favorite of all time.
There is something SO FAMILIAR about the concept of an apocalypse that is caused by mindless, shuffling, constantly-hungry masses of people that care nothing about their own safety or well-being (or that of the people around them), but ONLY about gratifying their unholy and insatiable needs.
There is something SO IN TUNE with the modern American landscape, and perhaps that is what draws me to the show.
All of that nonwithstanding, I give you Dead Yourself: A website that allows you to take a picture with a webcam, or upload one, and then to apply effects that will turn you into a zombie. I did it, and the results were spectacular.
I admit I tousled my hair and posed in a zombie-like grimace, but the results are great.
And I must say -- I've lost weight!

And, now we know why the Prez released the “skeet shooting” photo today - with his shotgun pointed straight out and not up. He was not skeet shooting, he was practicing for zombie hunting! DC is, after all, a target rich environment.
