I need one of these! Me too! At least one. Retail $199 for the stock, $24.99 for the 10 rnd mags. Stock only works with the mags!

The Mosin/Nagant is bolt action so would it be exempt from any new assault riffle regs?

Yup.
The 10 round mag would be illegal in NY, though

I just ordered more fodder for the K-31. The Swiss milsurp is all match grade and it’s getting scarce.

If I went this way with my 91/30, I wonder if I could still use it in vintage rifle matches at the range. I would think "yes", just so long as ya still do a mag change, (5 + 5, or 8 + 2 like the Garands).
Then again, if they are sticklers for detail, the fact that it would no longer be a "stock" rifle might disqualify it. Whadya think?

A buddy of mine bought the entire kit, complete with the funky scope with a about twelve separate ranging reticles. Complicated, but hella-cool.

Sorry, it wasn’t the VEPR but the Dragunov on somebody’s receiver. Might it have been a VEPR receiver?

I dont understand the point. We have a Mosin and its a great historical pieceMy Mosin's original stock cracked just behind the receiver the first time I took it out to shoot. So, it was unsafe to continue using.
Yes, they are historical arms. That being said, there's really nothing collectible about most of them.
I replaced my stock with a black Monte-Carlo style stock from ATI. The new stock made that old rifle much more fun to shoot.

I’m getting itchy waiting for this thing. ProMag’s been swamped with pre-orders.
Supposed to start shipping next week... fingers crossed.
To: AppyPappy
If you have a nice Mosin, I wouldn’t mess with it. But you could pick up a $100 beater at a show, drop it into this stock and have yourself a really cool rifle with ten round mags.
And the beauty is, there’s still tons of 7.62 x 54r surplus out there, even with the shortages and panic buying.
To: WhistlingPastTheGraveyard
Yeah, I want one for my Mosin, too.
